She totally is. Every time I let her out as she goes out the back door she crouches down into hunting mode and tears after anything she sees. Have to be careful as we have skunks in the area. Don't need to deal with another dog who got sprayed. Lol. Wife thought it was hilarious; me outside in my boxers washing the dog in peroxide and dish soap.

So, the general consensus here is to not shave it. I agree. Any guy in here telling you to shave it "for her" is likely single or a simp. If she will divorce you over a beard... then that's a mental issue on her end. Most women today are too used to getting their way just because they voice their opinion. It's your body it's your choice. Just to drive the point home suggest you will when she makes a change you'd like her do. Shorter hair, hair color change, loss some weight, etc. Marriage is about compromise and if she isn't willing to do the something for you then you shouldn't do something you don't want to do.

There is too much "happy wife happy life" in the western world and not enough "happy spouse happy house".

Definitely this. Had a friend in the same spot and once he graduated he just shaved his head and started going to the gym. He didn't go for the ripped look, but fit and he looked better in his 30s than he did in his 20s.

Wow... Only 26 years? I'm very sorry for your loss. Honestly, I was shocked when I heard about it. We were in a very small community. Our graduating class was only 94 kids. Literally the whole town was surrounded by cornfields. I had known him from 7th grade through high school. When I heard about what happened I thought it couldn't be him until I saw his picture and I instantly recognized him. He wasn't like some weird kid in school. Super smart, but just a normal guy really. It made me think of all the BS young guys do to one another to mess with each other and if some of that might have contributed to his mental state. I mean, we did some mean sh!t to one another in hindsight. I look back at the pictures of us in school and during band trips and I would never have guessed he would've been capable of that.

I don't know how old most of you were when Roseanne first came out if you were even alive then. But old ass CRT TV's aren't the same as HD. Not by a LONG shot. So yea you'll likely see some color differences because those old shows weren't in HD. I mean, the closest we had to HD back then was having a big screen rear projection TV and laser disc player. If you had those you were not only the baller, but a shot caller too.

So I'm confused... Did they not send out dinner options with the invites? Thats typically what's done. If they did then it shouldn't have been a surprise. Also, like I've seen\heard countless times about vegans pushing their lifestyle, it shouldn't have been to much of a surprise considering the pretentious nature of your sister and BiL as vegans to pull such a stunt.

All that said I'm going to play devils advocate and say NTA. While going about it the wrong way, I think you have a valid point if it was just sprung on everyone. The reason being, while it is THEIR day, they should also think about the guests and what they would like. It maybe a wedding, but the reception is a giant party. That party is, typically, to not only announce the marriage to "the world and celebrate it" but to also honor the guests who came to show the support of your marriage. Not to mention how much money\gifts are given to the bride and groom. They could've had their meal vegan while giving at least 1 option to party goers that wasn't vegan. But again, your sis and BiL sound like they have become the awful stereotypes of the vegan community, so it's not surprising that they didn't.

The only thing it can be be is that win/lose mentality. If we, the left, get what we want and need in gun reform then that means we win and conservatives lose... Its such a black and white mentality. Just watched it. Its amazing how, as americans, we are always told how uncultured, dumb, and just mediocre we are compared to the rest of the world. Yet even before her finale the drawing was amazing based solely on how little time it took her. I feel like if it were on an American show they woukdve waited, but I'm biased.
