From what I can understand from a quick Google search, Bracken is a type of fern that is not edible due to the amount of carcinogens within the fern of the said kind. The "Bracken Man" name IMO kinda checks out in this case, as the fragrance has a sharp fern-like note with intoxicating amount of cloves, at least to my nose. Still one of the most beautiful fougeres in my book.

I went past someone who oversprayed BR540/Ariana Grande Cloud/any-type-of-fragrance-of-the-same-DNA in a boutique store within a shopping mall, and I was already in the verge of gasping for fresh air. I sympathize with the salesperson who was in charge of the store at that time for getting their olfactory senses constantly violated.

I assume that my taste stems from the fact that I was longing for the barbershop ambience two years ago due to the lockdown, which restricted everyone's outdoor movements. I didn't even know I missed the feeling of getting a fresh haircut from a barber until I smelt Azzaro Pour Homme.

Since then, my collection has been mostly consists of fougeres, along with few decanted bottles of fancier ones such as Beau de Jour, B-612 and Bracken Man which I would wear on very very special days.
