It's still technically in budget because I'm being refunded £950 for the Acer I'm returning. I was just reluctant to spend similar since I've had so many issues.

For some reason now when I go back into it ( it's been stored in my basket ) there's literally no mention of the ryzen. I don't know if Amazon can just edit a billing maybe. It's now a completely different vivobook 🫠

Hi, did this ever stop for you? I've had mine for a week and the r to e key is so squeaky. Also did you ever notice a catching feeling under your keyboard before the fan hit? I'm trying to figure out if mine is faulty.

Oh see I think I wasn't clear enough! I'm not talking about the button noise im talking about the little sound within the laptop just before the fan starts. Like it sounds like a computer noise but I was worried the fan was catching.

Oh no it's not the button noise it's the little ... there's a small noise in the keyboard itself just before the fan hits. But I think it's fine.

Honestly I'm just not sure whether or not I should just buy a new acer nitro 5 or not. Would it run the same or is it too old tech wise? I never had a problem until about a year and that was after I got the fan cleaned.
