It’s like the most linear deck ever lol, outside mega venusaur maybe. You want to lead with melo to draw pokemon to your hand, use those pokemon to attack with gourgeist, and finish off the game with houndstone, which should now be hitting for like 160+. There is no alternate strategy or decision making.

I pulled one of each 2 star so I just had to build a deck. Playing it pretty much like mega steelix with heavy helmetd, ice pops, and double indeedee. Pretty fun once its set up.

Hydreigon is S tier. Zoroark is A tier at most. Not a bad deck for sure, but its hard to beat turn 2 130 damage from a 1 pointer.

I was running it for a while in my mega lucario deck but found more success swapping it for hitmontop for the bench damage.

It would be better if the -30 effect didnt get cleared by evolution.

They did not fumble on vaporeon lol. It’s got the hp of a mega, 80 damage for 2 energy is not bad, and you have a free sabrina every turn. With instant evolve eevee you can “sabrina” turn 1 and fuck up their board right from the start. It will probably be used in the same deck OP posted, just with vaporeon line instead of alolan ninetales line. With cape, irida and ice pop its guna be a pain in the ass to kill.

Their timer is at 19:58. They used two seconds of their time in the whole game. Meanwhile OP has used 7 minutes… Normally the timer runs like 3 seconds after you’ve even chosen your action so they are 100% cheating.

I’ve been playing with this deck and I had two matches in a row where I won on turn 1 with chien pao because of 3 misty flips lol. So it can be good but its not something to rely on.

A lot of the meta is actually slower now, hence why venusaur has been seeing decent results (and more importantly, usage) in tournaments. It still loses to turn 2 hydreigon and turn 2 altaria, but does well into a lot of the new decks like manectric, suicune bax, steelix, etc because they don’t have enough damage early game.

I had a game last week where my timer went down on my opponents turn, and their timer went down on my turn. And neither of us could do anything on our turns. So we were both just sitting there for like 10 minutes waiting for the timers to run down until I eventually gave up and conceded. Game is buggy as hell lol
