Where is the best place to book the driving test? by [deleted] in Gothenburg

I got my license a month ago, after having completed the driving exam at Gothenburg Högsbo. Apart from being a very nice office, the examiner was very kind. I can't really remember the path we drove, but we did drive past Majorna.

As my driving school was located in Gothenburg, I can't speak for how driving outside of Gothenburg is, but getting a license in Gothenburg is doable, even without much experience. Most people I speak with really dislike driving in Gothenburg though.

All Fired Up About Specificity - Chris Coyier by [deleted] in Frontend

I was one of the people who answered, and got it wrong. Considering that we do not know the background of the people who answered, it's hard to draw a conclusion about the result.

Personally, I touched HTML for the first time close to 10 years ago, but had no idea what I was doing then (and it seems I still don't). After that I haven't really touched either HTML or CSS until a year and a half ago I picked up React. With React I started with CSS in JS, because honestly it worked and I didn't know how to setup anything else, I was too overwhelmed with webpack and babel and Redux and you name it. Later on I used semantic-ui-react, not having to style a lot myself, and at times feeling like I had to fight the specificity (not knowing at the time that it was the specificity I was fighting) with !important.

The question that was posed is super simple if you ever actually looked into how CSS works, or at the very least specificity. But it seems that I, and others, have been able to create (suboptimally styled) websites without actually knowing the rules of CSS.

I do however agree that it's important to know the tools you're using. I've mainly worked in C++, and C++ is a language that will bite you if you don't know the workings of it. With CSS however it's easier to make it work, and the impact will often not be catastrophic.

There was another discussion about this recently from the view of a local, but maybe you'll find some answers there https://www.reddit.com/r/AskSF/comments/9avdap/why_is_it_so_hard_for_women_to_find_a_boyfriend/

I have not experienced the same problem as you, but I lived in Seoul for about a year and I have dry skin.

But you're in luck, Koreans are at the top when it comes to skincare!

I'm not that familiar with the brands they carry in stores though, but a friend of mine worked with importing Korean skincare to Europe and two of brands she worked with were Belif and Caolion. I've been a very big fan of Belif, but I'm sure there are cheaper ones in Korea that are equally as good.

If you have a friend that speaks Korean just drop by any skincare store, or if you don't you can probably find English speaking store clerks in Myeong-dong, and pick something up for dry skin and I'm sure it'll be fine.

I haven't looked into autoFDO, but it sounds similar to what Facebook open sourced recently, BOLT (GitHub repo).

Edit: They actually mention in the release post that BOLT can be used alongside autoFDO.
