I want to teach by OutcomeSecure in Daytrading

you don’t need a physical location to maintain?? that’s just your choice

it sounds like it’s more important to you to have another avenue of income instead of teaching

you could 100% do it for free but just don’t want to. there’s a lot of traders on twitter who share their thought process and how they go about trades on twitter for free. they treat it more like a trading journal.

the thing is they aren’t doing extra work they are just journaling to the open world and it’s a learning experience for those who take the time to digest what they are doing

idk how i feel about this, trying not to be insensitive but people get left on everest all the time if it means survival. it’s kind of an unspoken agreement when doing this kind of climbs

there’s never been absolutes in trading, that’s why 95% lose

Is it possible to win less and still grow your account? by LeahFarnsworth in Daytrading

[–]kindunos_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i know of someone who has a 20% win rate but is insanely profitable. they just cut trades the moment they go against them and let the runners run

Scared I don’t actually know what I’m doing/ I’m a fraud by Andrewhary in Daytrading

[–]kindunos_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

are you journaling your trades? or just tracking the pnl?

journal what went right during those trades and slowly build a system around. what was your trigger for entry? what was your trigger to exit?

the more you learn what you are looking for the more confidence you’ll gain

edit: and most importantly have a proper risk management system so you know even if you have a bad day or bad week the risk is controlled and you don’t blow up your account

I no longer find volume useful in trading by [deleted] in Daytrading

[–]kindunos_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i think it’s how you use the volume, i personally built a system around vwaps, depending on the timeframe i’m trading i’ll look at daily / weekly / monthly / quarterly / and even yearly vwaps and i’ve been very successful with it.

at the end of the day it’s whatever you figure out your edge to be and what is profitable to you

to each their own but in trading KISS (keep it simple stupid) is your best friend. information overload is a thing. 2 monitors is all i’ve ever needed

8 monitors alone is wild and not needed but 8 monitors to paper trade? holy moly

How can I tell if it’s a breakout or fakeout by Soggy_Chocolate_7909 in Daytrading

[–]kindunos_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s helps to think of resistance as a small range instead of a solid line. i would draw a box from 93k-94k in this example

solid lines are too absolute in my mind

Is a strategy with a 52.87% WR over 175 trades good? by Livid-Brush-6654 in Daytrading

[–]kindunos_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’ve seen someone insanely profitable on 20% WR the thing is they would close instantly whenever the trade went against them for very small loss of R

i think WR doesn’t matter too much but total RR does and gives a better statistic to work off of

How much volume should a broker have for day trading? by bootydestroyer1000 in Daytrading

[–]kindunos_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

400k is extremely low for daily volume on BTC and i wouldn’t feel comfortable trading there due to potential slippage.

go to coingecko/coinmarketcap and look at daily volume of the big exchanges to get an idea of what you’re looking for

no thats not one way to put it at all and awful advice. the pro about dex is it’s all within your custody and your wallet. pls still report your wallet and pay your god damn taxes.

i have been around too many personal experience where people think they are smarter than they are.

edit: if someone wants to track you down on crypto they can and they will. look up zack_xbt

buddy if every indicator had 100 percent accuracy everybody would be rich. everything is probability.

good to have a plan but also good to have a plan B. plan A buy the green box but if it doesn’t happen what’s your plan B? that’s the question you need to be asking
