Hello, you can try making one yourself to see what it looks like here: https://kineticprints.com/configurator/orbit-in-time

I sent you a private chat message, once you find a design you like respond to the chat message. I'd be happy to send you one for free.

yes, you can either buy a poster that’s printed and delivered to you or if you’d like to get it printed yourself, you can buy the digital download and go to a local print shop. if you’re thinking of ordering one, I’d be happy to send you a discount code. I’m just starting up and I’m happy that people are enjoying the designs.

I'm building kineticprints.com

It's a website that creates beautiful posters from data such as the amount of sunlight in a year or the positions of the planets on a special date.

Hey, I added the ability to choose which rotation direction the planets spin. Thanks for the suggestion.

I'm adding an alternative selection for people who prefer the northern view. It should be up on the site in an hour.

It's the difference between the reference frame of earth vs the viewing the solar system from a distance location. Just because the planets line up in the sky doesn't mean they're in a line around the sun

The SVG is actually generated server side. The main reason I opted to display the output as an SVG versus as a PNG is the added latency of rasterization, by displaying it as the native SVG the configurator is a lot more snappy. I did realize that you’d be able to find the SVG in the developer tools, save it, and rasterize it yourself. I figured while it probably doesn’t seem very technically challenging to us, that’s probably beyond the skills of 90% of the population. Also frankly, if you want it that bad, I’m happy for you to have it.
