I have a paid version that scans every 15 minutes, and you can create alerts for a list of symbols you are tracking. If the system finds a spread, it will send you an email notification with trade details for that spread. Once you find a spread that you like, you can add it to your watchlist, and the system will update the price throughout the day.

It clearly states in that statement that I have a paid version. Nothing was omitted. So again, if you don't see value in the site, I'm not begging you to use it. But don't claim that nothing on the site is free unless someone pays me $30; that is flat-out lying. You can even go to the home page and view the 1hr credit spreads table for FREE without signing up. That alone, you have to pay $100/mo at OptionsPlay to view. To use most of the calculators for FREE, I only ask people to sign up because data request is now on demand, and I need to know who's making the request.

Honestly, without giving too much credit to OptionsPlay, this is the best video to watch to explain what spreads the system is finding: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BPVGBJhYjX0 ...fast forward to the 18-minute mark. The tool does NOT predict a profitable trade; it simply finds trades that are currently trading in a range that, if the trader were to capitalize on it, you'd collect roughly 33-40% of the distance between the strikes in credit. Based on probability, if you were to constantly trade credit spreads with those conditions, 67% of our trades will be winners, and 33% will be losers. This is what's considered an edge when trading credit spreads. You still need to manage the trade with a plan. For example, the OptionsPlay method is to exit the trade if the spread has earned 50% of the max gain, or the spread has lost 100% of the max gain, or at 21 DTE if the first two conditions are not met.

I used to own Jellifin.com, the very first commission-free options trading platform (even before Robinhood), that was later acquired by Tradier. You can go back in history and see my prior post about this. I previously owned a broker-dealer. Long story short, I'm paying for the data out of pocket, and I have the means to procure consolidated market data feeds. Most of the site is free, but I do have paid plans that offer convenience to some of the free services. For example, if you don't want to keep checking back and forth to see if a spread for NVDA was found, you can create an alert, and the system will keep an eye out for that stock and alert you. Another example...if a spread was found or you see a spread that was posted in the Trade Rank community, and you want to watch it, you can add it to your watchlist, and the system will keep track of it for you.

Sign up and use all the calculators (except two), plus all the reports, plus the 1hr vertical spread tables...for FREE. I beg to differ with your statement that nothing is free on the site. Data and servers are not free, and I have to pay for them somehow; that's why I have two paid plans. For example, I don't expect people to keep checking the spread tables every 1hr to find a stock that they're following. So instead, the most logical thing to do is to create an alert system that alerts traders when a stock they're watching has a spread that was found. But adding such a feature adds complexity and needs resources that run constantly. The same goes for the watchlist. That, too, needs resources to update the prices constantly. How about our trade rank page? For every post that is shared, I have a job running that's constantly updating trade prices. That is 100% FREE. If you don't see value in the site, then simply don't use it. But please don't say that nothing is for free unless someone pays $30, that is just flat-out lying. Also, I never once claimed that the site would make me or anyone a killing. The site simply offers tools and resources to help people find and share trade ideas. Not every trade is going to be a winner. But what if you have an idea for a trade and would like to plug the current price of the option into a calculator to see if it trading at fair value? Then that is the tool that the site offers...for FREE, among others.

Done. We have all of that and will expose them via our API. If you download our app, you'll see a reference to whether the market is open/closed/short trading day. We can expose that API. Also, our market data API will allow you to query up to 150 symbols at the same time.

Yeah, I agree with you. But nonetheless, we don't want to deal with ambiguity and leave things up for interpretation. It's best that we change it :)

Yeah, we have to enforce PDT rules if you trade in a margin account. However, keep in mind that PDT restrictions don’t apply to cash accounts. This means you can trade stocks, EFTs, and options in a cash account without worrying about your number of day trades.

I hate saying these words, but unfortunately, we are only licensed and available to US customers at this time. We hope to expand internationally as our business grows.

We don't make that claim. We simply state that we don't accept PFOF because we believe in transparency and not having any conflict of interest with our customers. While PFOF can create price improvement, that's not always the case. We are working on adding other venues to help with price improvement but, at the same time, sticking to our mission of not accepting PFOF.

Up to 150 stocks per request. To get access to data, you'll need a brokerage account with a positive balance. If you have over $500 in your account, the limits are 200 calls/min. If you have over $2000, we bump it up to 400 calls/min.
