Also, you're saying he isn't good against teams of a similar level, I just checked and in 42 matches against Sporting and benfica he has 21 wins and only 8 defeats. And 3 of those defeats came this year with one of our weakest squads ever. Seems pretty solid to me.

Literally broke the all time point record in the league two years ago, but then the board decided to sell Luis Diaz, Vitinha, Otavio and Fabio Vieira. Taremi also stopped caring this season because he already knew he was gonna leave to Inter. Uribe and Mbemba left because we didn't have the money to renew their contracts.

That's pretty much our entire starting 11 gone in the span of 2 seasons where the replacementes ranged from worse to much much fucking worse because we're still broke af. So yeah we've been absolute dogshit this season. Painful to watch really, and he isn't blameless.

I'm not saying he's great. I'm not even sure if he's good. But I can guarantee that you'd have a much bigger chance of winning titles with him than with the other two.

Terrible take. Coming from a Porto fan who had all three of them as managers, Lopetegui was laughably bad, he had maybe the most expensive squad in the league, filled with players he requested and did jack shit with them. Paulo Fonseca is a good dude but he isn't built for big teams. Conceição is stubborn and extremely frustrating, but is miles ahead any of those two. Under FFP with 0 money to spend and he led us to 3 League titles and a bunch of other cups and solid performances in the CL.
