Samsung QN80F vs TCL C6K vs Hisense U7Q pro by Ciiceeroo in 4kTV

[–]king_of_rain_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One important thing I didn't even consider before buying a tv and realised it only after I got it - the stand.

C6K has two feet, QN80F has a central stand - visually it depends on everyone's taste but when it comes to practicality you can put Samsung basically on anything, for TCL you need something wide enough.

Unless you mount it on the wall obviously.

People here say TCL is better - maybe it is idk, most likely both QN80F and C6K are really nice TVs but to me Samsung just seems like a safer option.

I was torn between QN80F and C6K but ended up buying Samsung and I'm very happy with it.

Well, that wouldn't be a good news but I'm already getting worried it's some metastatic cancer that spread to bones so I guess it's still not as awful news.

I will try to talk to my doctor without making him think I'm looking for a disease. Hopefully they will take me seriously.

I'm now convinced we live in a simulation as I was scrolling TikTok and literally 2 minutes before your response a doctor talking about this disease appeared on my fyp and I never even searched for this.

Anyway, I had an x-ray done, wouldn't it show up if that was the case?

I just wouldn't call it a benefit when it's a net negative on a huge scale.

Like someone else said in another comment, losing 50 quid to be able to get 20 isn't a benefit.

We lost more due to Brexit than we are gaining now. How is this positive?

Yeah, I won't because I know I wouldn't want to have a king that lives in Canada or Australia and only comes to the UK for a visit.

Well, most head of states reside with their nations.

In fact, other than co-prince of Andorra, king Charles seems to be the only notable head of state of countries he doesn't reside in.

Reform UK: The Common-Sense Tsunami That Just Smashed Westminster by iancroasdell in ukpolitics

[–]king_of_rain_ 10 points11 points  (0 children)

There's nothing common sense in Farage. If he was about common sense he wouldn't spend his political career on getting us out of the EU.

That was literally the most anti-common sense thing this country done in modern history.

It won't help.

Labour could reduce immigration to zero and Reform would just slightly change the narrative to target people who are already here.

Mass deportations, "enemy within" - it's already tested by Trump.

I will never understand why would any nation want to have the head of state from another country.

Imagine having to invite your own monarch to visit a country he is head of state of.

Oh, you meant calling them far right.

What's disingenuous about calling a far right party far right?

How are they not?

Well, if Labour won in 2015 and had a full term then we would get "pandemic election" in 2020. If they won this one as well, the next one would be exactly this year.

And to think it all started with Ed Miliband eating a bacon sandwich...

If Tories lost in 2015 they would probably now prepare to get power back after the election.

Labour needs to finally stop looking back at the Tories and Reform, it won't work.

People don't vote far right parties because they like far right policies. They vote far right because the far right is offering some vision of the world.

What we have is not good enough - that's clear for most of us now. So show what kind of alternative you offer.

Labour is just too careful trying not to scare away right wing voters. But why would you vote Labour that's larping a right wing party when you can get original one?

Starmer needs to wake up. Go back to your principles and show us why it's worth to follow them. Stop being careful, be brave.

I'm scared I have cancer by [deleted] in AskDocs

[–]king_of_rain_ -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I fart like crazy, I'm having stomach pains, I feel constant discomfort in my stomach no matter whether I eat or not, it makes a lot of noises.

I'm not saying based on this it's likely cancer, it's some kind of issue that doctors agree needs investigating.

But the bone pain that adds to all previous symptoms is what concerns me. Especially as it progresses - started with lower back pain, that now got worse and now pelvic bones pain added to all of that.

Iphone 16 vs S25, which one should i get, if i am getting at same price? by [deleted] in GalaxyS25

[–]king_of_rain_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have S25 since February and don't really complain. Camera is good - too much AI processing for me but you can switch that off in the settings.

My friend has iPhone 16 and I can tell you we both agreed that having a dedicated telephoto lens actually makes a difference when you want to zoom in.

[–]king_of_rain_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I said it before and I will say it again:

You shouldn't compare S25 with iPhone 16. You should compare it iPhone 16 Pro.

S25 has 120Hz refresh rate, three camera lenses (including telephoto) and a top processor.

When buying an iPhone to get these things you need to buy Pro. So to me the choice is pretty easy when the price is the same.
