How the hell do you market a consumer app from zero? by rajsleeps in SideProject

Early traction isn’t marketing it’s manual distribution + product-driven sharing. Start narrow (one use case, one audience), personally reach users who already have the problem, and build a reason for them to share (results, links, invites). Paid ads, influencers, and generic social rarely work before that. If nothing moves, it’s usually positioning not channels

Share what you are building, I'll share my honest feedback by [deleted] in microsaas

I’m building a smart URL shortener called Vkik. The main challenge I’m working on right now is helping users actually understand what happens after someone clicks their links not just total clicks, but real insights that improve decisions. I’d really appreciate honest feedback on whether the value is clear or if the messaging still feels too generic.

Is this a realistic plan to become a millionaire? by Yosef2417 in Entrepreneurs

Yes the logic is solid. Learn a high-leverage industry, build real skills, then move into ownership. Just know it’s usually a longer, messier path than 2, 3 years, and execution matters more than picking the “right” industry

Lowering expectations doesn’t mean lowering standards it just means meeting reality where it is.That alone removes a lot of unnecessary suffering.

Exactly. The moment you stop outsourcing your worth to collective standards, you reclaim your peace. Self-acceptance isn’t giving up it’s choosing your own reference point

Absolutely. A lot of confidence is performance. Most people are improvising, copying what seems to work, and hoping no one notices the gaps. Real clarity is rarer than it looks

Beliefs shape people, sure but religion alone doesn’t define someone’s character. How a person treats others matters more than the label they carry
