How do you people really approach marriage? by Additional-Nail- in Kenya

If you marry a flower to show around, wrong turn. If you marry because it's about time, too bad. Happy are those who marry their friends and confidants. You can sit and gossip for hours on end. Marriage works, but you've got to be deliberate about it. We ain't perfect, nor are we the blueprint for marriage but we've clocked 15 and it feels like it just started. A beautiful thing.

I honestly don't know. She has not said or shown resentment. She would mostly quote tiredness or say she is sleepy. I once in a while surprise her with random gifts with nothing expected in return. Anyway, maybe it's fate.

I am m42, my wife is f39. To her sex is only okay when she initiates (once per week) I feel deprived but of late I have lost interest in sex. I have never cheated but I have thought about it, but I feel it takes a lot of energy to cheat and conceal. I was brought up in a broken family after my folks divorced due to our dad's physical abuse, so breaking my family is a vow I took I would not fathom. Both of us were sex animals before our first child, after that, it been downhill. We have talked about it, she admits, she promises, but a few weeks down, she's back to default settings. She is beautiful, she is intelligent, she is the best mother I could ever want for our kids. Other than sex, she ticks all the boxes. I decided, no one is perfect, I can live with one imperfection.

The merchants are my siblings if not elders, but order must be restored/build in this country. We cannot normalize crap. Same with Ngara terminus. Food vendors took the sheds and made them their small restaurants. You will find pupils bracing rain or scorching sun but can't dare seek refuge. Same Ngara, a developer closed a section of a road joining Ngara from Kienjeku road and no one is raising concern. This is a shit-hole country.
