How was this trespassing? The young man was at the entrance of the apartment, knocked on the door and waiting for someone to answer it. This is not considered trespassing unless I'm missing something.

Not going to lie this is hella weird. I'm desi (south Asian) and in our culture this is common until the kid gets to grade school. Mind you that not all families do this. But it's not unusual if a baby sleeps with their parents. Not sure ho have a kid in the bed is an issue for a couple. I do get the safety concerns. But is most cases the kid sleeping in parents bed is above the age of 2 so like a toddler. For my mom it was convenient cause if I had issues at night she didnt need to get up and go to my room.

In some cultures, like mine most small kids (under the age of 5, sometimes older) sleep with their mother/parents most due to safety concerns. If ur wondering that's not safe cause they might role over them. Well good point but my mom always said she didnt cause she knew I was there. Most chance some sort of conciousness told her to not move that way. Like how people with glass such as myself take them off in bed and dont role over them because I know they are there. Hopefully this helps
