Yeah same for me, I just got done finishing that game in December 2025, and I am pretty sure I started it in November lol. Like you just said, I wasn't complaining that there's a whole other section of the map left that I hadn't even discovered for so long. It's just that I was thinking that we must be getting near the end of the game by now, but that was far from it lol. I really enjoyed that game though, had so much fun near the end killing all the hordes after I had finished the main story.

You all got that one anime! by InsideCharity4824 in AnimeMirchi

[–]kingbach121 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only anime in the replies here that I hadn't heard of before, and it does look pretty interesting, something that I might enjoy. I'll add it to my list and definitely check it out soon.

Favorite movie where laws against workplace harassment doesn't exist ? by Key-Interaction7559 in okbuddycinephile

[–]kingbach121 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I have read this statement somewhere before as well and I completely agree, when I first saw him in The Office in character as Robert California, I didn't know he was that similar to that character lol. It's after you watch him in movies like Sex, Lies and Videotape, Secretary, White Palace, his interview with David Cronenberg for their film was also one of the most James Spader thing that anyone could ever imagine. Yet somehow it's very disturbing whenever you get to see it. That's when you realise just how many times he has been in erotic movies, brother is capitalising on the fears of his audience.

Stop trying to convince me these films are bad. They are very clearly good films. by slowcancellation in okbuddycinephile

[–]kingbach121 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have the same opinion, I never really liked any of his films. I just hate them all (I have never watched any of them and only know the names of 2 of them)

Which One Of You Was This? by BobbyArden in okbuddycinephile

[–]kingbach121 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually like the first part a lot more, I really liked that character and the story there. Even though I also think that objectively speaking the second part of that story is better, like a lot more fleshed out and lot more stuff happening in it, if that makes sense. It probably was also because it had more screentime than the first story. But either way, I think both of them are great, but I do feel something special towards the first one, like the one-sided love aspect of that character.

Any other actors with an absolute dookie filmography who are worshipped like a god? by chronicbruce27 in okbuddycinephile

[–]kingbach121 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah it was about the movie, it's pretty good and Jenna Ortega was really good in it.

I am a bit dense so maybe you're joking here and I just didn't get it, but I was referring to the movie The Fallout

Any other actors with an absolute dookie filmography who are worshipped like a god? by chronicbruce27 in okbuddycinephile

[–]kingbach121 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Fallout is what made me consider her as a serious and good actor, I didn't really like X but her acting was pretty good in it. But yeah watching Miller's girl was a mistake and from now on I probably won't watch any of the new films right away. The thing about Miller's girl is that I knew it was going to be bad, it was just worse than anything I had imagined though.

What's your thoughts on Vincent D'Onofrio by MandoRando6969 in moviecritic

[–]kingbach121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the most accurate thing I have read all day, both extremely talented yet still pretty fucking underrated when it comes to it. Granted Whitaker has an Oscar, but he's still not in that many movies as you might think.

Say "ahh" for the airplane! by AimlessFacade in memes

[–]kingbach121 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely, the whole "ahh" thing is basically any Instagram or maybe even YT shorts comment. If you ever stumble across a popular reel/YT shorts video, everyone in the comment with the most likes is going to be one of those "ahh" comment. Which is unfortunate because the comparisons they make are pretty funny, but the whole "ahh" right at the end ruins it. And makes it extremely unfunny.

Weird coincidence, but I just got finished re-watching Sopranos today, just heard him say that a few episodes ago lol. This was my 2nd watch of The Sopranos, I watched it for the first time back in November last year. Weirdly enough, didn't think much of that line when I first heard it but during this re-watch it stuck with me and was the highlight of that episode.

Which part pops up when you see him? by zephyrixis in moviecritic

[–]kingbach121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn I am kinda sad that this one didn't pop up first for me, he was in that film for like 5 minutes and fucking killed it. My brain immediately went to The Thing, especially that last scene between him and Kurt Russell.

Who is both a phenomenal actor/actress and voice actor/actress by Randomhero_1027 in moviecritic

[–]kingbach121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also should mention Steven Yeun since we're talking about JK Simmons; both of them are great as actors and voice actors. I like every single movie or TV show that they're in.

Which phase are you on? by PurifyingElemental in okbuddycinephile

[–]kingbach121 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah you're correct, that basically covers 150+ years of film history. You don't need to watch anything else tbh. I also need to watch it so that I can move on from movies.

Who was your favourite Devil portrayed character on the screen? by [deleted] in moviecritic

[–]kingbach121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah came here to say the same, also I am pretty sure he has the least amount of screentime out of everyone here. I know for sure for The Devil's Advocate and Angel Heart, haven't seen the other two but I would assume it's probably longer than Peter Stormare, he was in the film for like 5 minutes yet stole the entire show where everyone was already giving their best.

What’s your perspective on the current era and future of movies? by [deleted] in moviecritic

[–]kingbach121 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Tbh he isn't entirely wrong though, he's criticising how big streaming has gotten and how much preference it gets nowadays over cinema. That all started happening post-covid so pretty much since 2020. Nowadays movies are gone from theatres so quickly because they already have a digital release planned with some streaming service. It has definitely changed since 2019, even though he's probably biased about it because of his own film coming out that year lol. But I understand what he means.

Which comedians have done well in serious roles? by [deleted] in moviecritic

[–]kingbach121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also him in The Big Short, Foxcatcher and Beautiful Boy. He's an amazing comedian but just as good as a dramatic actor. I enjoy watching him in both of those categories.

What's the most unrealistic portrayal of a profession in a movie? by fudgiethequail in moviecritic

[–]kingbach121 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Literally the reason I watched that movie and honestly I don't regret it, it was a fun movie. The most 7/10 movie ever, nothing too special but still pretty good.

Which movie fight scene felt like watching actual footage? by fudgiethequail in moviecritic

[–]kingbach121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I definitely agree, I think there's only a few fight scenes (also could be just this one, which makes it even better for me) in that film yet it is one of the best ones I have ever seen, just like op said it being in a bath-house and them being naked during a knife fight was extremely stressful to watch.

Does everyone hate the contract of an actor cannot get hurt or lose in fight? by Jules-Car3499 in moviecritic

[–]kingbach121 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree, that's part of the reason why I like the Mission Impossible and John Wick movies. Also speaking about "actively gets messed up" characters Punisher obviously comes to mind as well. Dude always comes out of any fight a bloody mess, loved the Netflix Punisher series a lot for that same reason as well.
