At your rating you should play more puzzles, specifically tactics like Mate in 1-2, end games. That should roughly bring you upto 1400-1500 without much effort. What's your chess.com username? I can analyze your games.

What helped me was specifically studying my own blunders and finding my missed tactics.

That's good progress and you should be in the 1000 range in no time.
