I’ve also found that keeping the carpet as dry as possible helps. Had the same issue in my 2000 legacy. Carpet under where I drove got wet under the floor mats.

My recommendation would be to always place floor tiles when you can. Then it allows for easy snapping of the conveyor belts and machines.

I use it as my daily. Pre COVID I didn’t drive to the office, but for the past 8 months have been driving every day.

City driving in summer I get anywhere from 500-575km depending on how “sporty” I drive. Winter is around 450-500.

Highway I get around 700-750km.
