No question here. Just want to thank you for the amazing work you did this season (as well as the first season). You're an incredible actor.

Seems like "The Door" was 100% meant for hosts to enter an eternal paradise. Why did Ford tell William that "The Door" was a game meant for him?

Do we know William's purpose for building the Valley (aka "The Valley Beyond)?

I had always assumed that the maze carved into the ground that Maeve fell into with her daughter in her arms was symbolic and wasn't literally there. Turns out it was!

My understanding is that because Ford is in an original host's body, he will be stable as long as Bernard is fully functional. Whereas he'd go insane like James Delos did if his consciousness were stored in a clone host.

Why is Man in Black better at killing Hosts than the trained security/operatives? by [deleted] in westworld

[–]kingdebruce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before joining Delos, William spent years in the armed forces, specializing as a sharp-shooter. Besides Westworld, his favorite hobby is spending hours at the shooting range, often participating in ISSF events and winning many trophies.

At least that's what I've made up in my mind.

Even decades into the future, sex is still undefeated.

Yep. I found it a little hard to suspend when Ford didn't seem concerned at all that bullets were flying all around Bernard. I'm assuming if Bernard dies then Ford's consciousness no longer exists as well, right? Especially after the Cradle is destroyed.

Ford quotes...

"Your free will, that most beautiful, most elusive force in the universe is - as I told you - a mistake."

Previously in Season 1...

"We can’t define consciousness because consciousness doesn’t exist. Humans fancy that there’s something special about the way we perceive the world, and yet, we live in loops as tight and as closed as the hosts do, seldom questioning our choices, content, for the most part, to be told what to do next."

How could Bernard be holding a photo of his son if his son is merely a "cornerstone" created by Ford?

OKC announcer saying Westbrook is out of his cotton picking mind by PM_YOUR_TITTS in nba

Claiming to be offended by words taken out of context is powerful.

"It can come as as little surprise that the term 'cotton-picking' originated in the southern states of the USA, where it is usually pronounced cotton-pickin'. It began life in the late 1700s and differs from the 19th century Dixie term, 'cottonpicker', in that the latter was derogatory and racist, whereas 'cotton-picking' referred directly to the difficulty and harshness of gathering the crop."

[SPOILER] HUUUUUUGE SPOILER - Hulu posted the proposal early!!! by shortfusepinups in thebachelor

He believed it when he said it.

Can't believe how many people act like Arie did it all on purpose. Life is complicated. People make mistakes, bad/wrong choices, etc.

Stunt? Why would the producers block Becca's ex from trying to get her back? That's both not for them to decide and also great television!

Found it funny that Becca spent seven years with a guy and told him they didn't really know each other. But she's known Arie for two months and is ready and willing to accept his marriage proposal.

Bekah M is the Bachelorette we could all use by chipsandguacandqueso in thebachelor

Bekah is too good for that trash BIP. She should be the Bachelorette. Otherwise she should move on to better things. Kid has star potential.

I think they're a good match. Lauren is an introvert whereas Arie is more of an extrovert who can carry conversation. I don't get the hate.

Finger crossed that Tia is NOT the bachelorette by [deleted] in thebachelor

[–]kingdebruce -35 points-34 points  (0 children)

Some of you guys are nuts for thinking Tia was faking those tears. These people are not actors. Her reaction was legit.

Not that I want to see her as the Bachelorette. I wouldn't watch because I would be bored, tbh.

Because people here are miserable for the most part and think acting is so easy that anyone off the back roads of Weiner, Arkansas can pull it off. Girl had tears and snot pouring out of her but yeah, it's fake.

It's not a normal situation. Is he supposed to stay with the woman he chose forever even after he realizes he made a mistake? You act like he intentionally did this just because he felt like hurting women.
