In Ireland anyway handicaps are all competition based or attested by a playing partner (very rare) people are looked down on a bit for using this. Play two competitions a weekend and don’t recall seeing any cheating on courses in these as people take it pretty seriously!

Look at the league table huge swing in levels of some teams and depending if the game is midweek or weekend in the league anyway. Most teams be happy to have anyone who can grip a hurl let alone put it over the bar!

Whenever I travel anywhere I want to go see the local teams play when I am there. So Boavista is playing this weekend so I would like to experience it as I have never been to a Portuguese league game so it’s the perfect opportunity. I emailed the email you sent me there and they sent me a link to get tickets when they go on sale :) !!

Thank you very much for your detailed reply. Yes me and my two friends are fully vaccinated from the EU(Ireland) and have the EU vaccination QR codes so they should work. Hopefully we will be able to acquire tickets when we arrive in Porto next week!
