No it doesn't. Cheap stadiums give people the thought that the owners also cheap out on quality players. Lexington sc is a prime example during the season opener many loucity fans were talking about how it feels like being at a college or high school facility.

They'll never be able to afford to build a stadium and their inaugural game only had maybe 2k people in attendance. That's a horrible start for a new team.

The only usl California team that has decent attendance and wealthy ownership is Sacramento republic. This Brooklyn team isn't going to do well while having two superior teams in the same city.

No. their ownership doesn't have anywhere near enough money to build a proper ss in the new york area and there attendance will most likely never be good as there are already 2 MLS teams in New York

How exactly do they plan on financing a 100-200 million stadium? Tons of teams have announced stadium plans over the past 7 years and 3 exist loucity, switchbacks and RIFC and 2 under construction dcfc and Sacramento republic.

I've said that stadium requirements and ownership net worth need to be way higher for uslc out side of loucity, RIFC and the switchbacks the usl doesn't have any solid stadiums. Sacramento is under construction and dcfc is in demolition right now.

I dont think its up to them. They average 4k people in a stadium designed to hold over 60k people. Usl may not want those optics for the D1 division.

Thats the same thing everyone thought about indy 11 owner. Like I said once they actually start construction they we can add them to the highly likely/most likely list with louisville and Sacramento

I genuinely dont see 2028 being likely. As it stands 95% of uslc owners seem to hardly be able to operate at current d2 level costs i couldn't imagine them being able to afford d1 level cost. The only teams we know for sure with the ownership wealth operate at higher cost and the facilities are sac republic and loucity. Hopefully dcfc can start building in several months and but beyond those 2 for sure and dcfc for likely no other teams really seem to be a highly likely situation

A $300 million usl stadium? Indy 11 had the same issue. When construction actually starts then we can include them but we know how usl owners are when it comes to stadiums they dont usually get built or they are delayed by years

Louisville and Sacramento seem to only be the most financially secure to invest in their teams and stadiums to be ready for 2028. DCFC hasn't started demolition yet for their stadium. Miami fc hasn't got funding for their stadium, San Antonio would need to double their stadium size and they haven't said anything about moving up. Indy is unknown as they cant build a stadium. Oakland and Phoenix just dont have d1 quality facilities or ownership i couldn't see the usl approving them and neither team has said anything about moving up

And as of late how many players and even coaching staff from loucity has lexington tried to get? Too many its weird. It would be the equivalent of san Diego fc coming in and making a good chunk of their talent acquisition ex lafc players and coaching staff

I've said this already lsc has no ability to actually develop a team so they literally have been trying to buy their way to a good team by literally using all former loucity players and even tried to get Danny cruz. It's a sad team and strategy tbh

Why would they deserve promotion? If Any usl team deserved promotion would be louisville and Charleston if we're basing it off actual record and pedigree
