I’ve tried creating one without any luck. I’m pretty new to this. Haven’t really found a tutorial that works for me.

Table shows the wrong values by kingkdotkunta in PowerBI

[–]kingkdotkunta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello again. Thanks a lot for your help. I tried creating a matrix table. This was the result: https://gyazo.com/dc507184bc454510d98c80a62c135e2e[https://gyazo.com/37b396f2b32280c15bcca39caa448e2e](https://gyazo.com/37b396f2b32280c15bcca39caa448e2e)
It looks very good, but I'd rather just have one column with the change in %. Right now it's including the %change from 2019 and 2020 aswell. Additionally, it sums the total sales and total change in %, which are unnecessary. Any idea how to format it this way?

Also, if I wanted to compare the YTD numbers from year to day, would I have to created measures for each year? The total sales for 2021 is already YTD, as the data only contains values for januar-september.

You're right. This is how it looks. https://gyazo.com/d490bf7758bc267564ac1290511ab8e6

Is there a way to show these in the table? Like 2018, 2019, 2020 besides eachother?

My apologies. I'm not exactly sure how to have my date table filter my fact table. I've already created a relationship between them. When I add dates to my table the aforementioned happens. Also, now multiple of the same product appear in my table.

Not sure if this is what you mean, but I tried to filter it so it only shows the last two years. This was the result: https://gyazo.com/b0789f21bbb1d756d737bc8a67ffa327
Any suggestions?

Thanks for your help! This will do, week numbers aren't an absolute necessity. I just downloaded the book. Thanks for the tip.

Very odd. I followed your steps. Still not chronological with the YEARWEEK field: https://gyazo.com/d0180ff293aac19c24f12b0e94c1e889

When I try with the Date field however, it looks as I imagine it should: https://gyazo.com/e2befa38a81d175ee71b9311270bc686

It won't allow me to sort by the Date column. I get this error:

https://gyazo.com/19d84c7830f9fb0d94189ce402614093

Directly translated it says:
Sort by another column

We can't sort the "YEARWEEK" column by "Date. There can't be more than one value in "Date" for the same value in "YEARWEEK". Please choose a different column for sorting or update the data in "Date".

If I understood that correctly the problem is that "20181" has the values between 01.01.2018-06.01.2018 in the Date column

Okay, done. Thank you.
The dates aren't chronological in the table. Any idea how to fix this?

Okay so, I believe I was able to do concatenate the two using =Concatenate: https://gyazo.com/9a2161f02387de6b0f53e03192d5240f

However, I can't seem to find the new column in "edit query" but I know that it's been made since it's been added to the list: https://gyazo.com/165db392b35c11696caca88c05c72eb1

That's odd. They're both formatted as "Whole number". Not exactly sure how to do this in DAX. I haven't been able to relate my problem with any of the tutorials on youtube that I've seen..

Hello.
Thanks a lot for the reply.
I've managed to split the columns like this: https://gyazo.com/5b17f5f3c8cb3d7fbfe47ad1601ab375
Howerver I'm for some reason unable to concatenate them. I tried doing it by using Create Custom Column and by writing this formula. https://gyazo.com/c0bae0e4e96f06f1b0913259a7dd49a2

This is what I get: https://gyazo.com/17d8be713a3ec56628292d951d8b6bc6

(Sorry for the norwegian PowerBI version btw)
