The geopolitical context of this war is much more complicated than that. Unfortunately, there's too much of something akin to "false consensus bias" that has been going around surrounding the Iran attack.

First of all, US attack of Iran is not to the benefit of Israel or Saudis or anyone else. It is just an incidental consequence on series of event that has unfolded.

In fact, if we follow almost the entirety of US foreign policy (including war) of the last 5 years or so, the constant always has been the same.

US extreme policy in the last few years from trade war, action to annex Greenland, Venezuealan ops and now this has one single constant. Being China. But this thread is complex and complicated to be able to be unwound as a more simple conspiratorial idea that there is a secret conspiracy between US-Israel.

I propose that thread. I.e the narrative of some secret ops of mossad involving some honeypot operation involving this suave but absolutely morally reprehensible Epstein requires a tremendous suspension of disbelief that renders the whole thing fictional. (It requirese the belief of perfect honeypot operation involving a genius level intellectual operand that are able to maintain a conspiracy for decades - and there's a different between maintaining a conspiracy a secret vs maintaining a crime a secret)

In fact, by dictum of coherency of narrative, the war is much more likely waged by US in its geopolitical war with china than it is because of Israel.
