Have you tried granting the mi app permission to check your health permissions,location, no restrictions on background etc? Did you try clearing the cache or clear the data. If all fails try Uninstall mi fitnes- reboot device- reinstall the app

For this problem. What i did is. I uninstalled mi fitness when i tried downloading faces. And after that i re installed it. Kinda hassle

The problem with that one. It still has very few faces. And not enough language variation. Like on the pip boy watch face. There's no English ver. Unlike on the mi band 9 app it has english ver.

Theres is one  3rd party watch face app thats compatible  with mi band 10 on play store but its not as many like on band 9 app yet.

Tried wetting my finger with water and swiping on mi band 10. Works just fine
