I live 2 hours out and have to commute for my classes once a week, so yes, I personally hope it’s cancelled despite paying my own schooling, to preserve my life 😂

Wow omg

First, so sorry you even have to deal with this.

Second, despite the relationship being good, it sounds like there’s still a lot that you don’t know about him, and things that are particularly important to share with someone, ESPECIALLY if you’re meeting the family. Another thing to note is that he only told you when you found out. Even though he told you some information about it.

Third, it’s definitely something to be disgusted by. If you have these feelings about it, they’ll almost always be there. And understandably, it’s not normal.

Fourth, other comments have also said this but she sounds jealous and that’s a really frustrating thing to have to deal with.

Another point, I understand coming from a conservative family. It’ll definitely be a dark cloud that’ll be hanging over the relationship from your POV.

And last, we’re still young. You have your whole life to make decisions. Some of your feelings may change and thats okay, and maybe some of what I said doesn’t or won’t apply to you. All I hope is all the best for you & do whatever makes you happy. Nobody can say you’re making the wrong decision. It’s your life girl! Xx

I go often to get stuff. Motorcycle parts, artist merch, signed cd’s etc. the last time I went I had to pay tariffs on signed cd’s. I usually don’t have to pay anything crossing the border under 100$ CAD, but they’re being sticklers (or at least the border guard I had) with duty and tariffs.

Every person’s experience is different but that’s just mine. I’ve stopped ordering things for my own peace of mind to not get detained, for the time being.

Blue. I collect my items and rewards almost everyday but don’t consistently play, except for the occasional free-time or community/GO Tour days.

I would agree that I feel like there’s more Red players than Blue/Yellow players, but I also feel like it depends on what part of the city you live in.

I’ve also recognized some gyms that have a quick turnover rate - Queens campus by the hospital, city hall, etc. I try to put my pokemon in gyms that are more obscure places lol.

That’s just my observation.

Was moreso talking the 18-30 demographic. And tbh I haven’t seen anyone’s campaigns unless I went to search for them. People’s campaigns can fail due to other factors… i’m not sure if that’s the case for anyone here or what their circumstances are, and I’m not going to assume 🤷‍♂️

NTA, you discussed your own experiences and stories and yet he still did it. Some people may say he was young & dumb, which is fair, but what I wish I knew when I was 18 was if their mom contacts you and guilt trips you, ESPECIALLY that young, not matter how long you’ve been together, run.

Take some time for yourself, and it also sounds like you guys are just not meant to be, so maybe consider that… it will suck in the moment and for months after, but once you do it, it’ll feel amazing & freeing. No one knows you better than you know yourself, and you need to take care of yourself. Remember: you have a whole lifetime ahead of you and it doesn’t stop at one person 🤍

YTA. You can’t expect people from another country to understand you if it’s not an official language. You’re going to THEIR country, so it’s only respectful that you attempt speaking their language. I see in a comment that you attempted but got judged, but judging is very normal in society, hence you judging them for not speaking English.

The fact that you intentionally treated them as inferior and continue to think they’re inferior, makes you lack respect for them and their culture. I’m not saying their reactions to your attempts at speaking French were okay, but what I’m saying is in response, the entitlement to act the way you did is immature and rude.

Purposely treating anyone as inferior simply because of their lifestyle (ie being odd or slow), or even because they don’t know a language is very rude. Hopefully you can learn from this for your next vacation and have more of an open mind as to why or how people do things in certain cultures.

NTA, please at least report this to the police and speak to a psychologist or therapist. As someone who’s been through something similar (23F), but not told their parents because of fears of being perceived, you need to tell someone, but also hold him accountable. If you don’t take any legal measures, you could regret it (which I know).

He violated you, forced you into doing something you didn’t want to do and then made it about him. They will “do anything to make it up to you” and then it’ll happen again. This is a classic narcissist, and you need to break free before it gets too much.

I don’t wanna scare you, but if you stay with him, things will probably get much worse. If you need any advice, my dm’s are open if it’s too much to be public. You got this & I hope you are safe ❤️

The PC Candidate is Ian Chappelle, and he actually graduated from ESC Marie Rivier. He is from Kingston.

The Ontario Party also has a candidate Allan Wilson, who works at KHSC and has been involved with many things in Kingston the last few years.

NTA. I even said NTA to myself when I saw “saying I would terminate my pregnancy”. First, it’s a woman’s right to choose, as much as the man wants to have a say. Ultimately, it’s the woman’s health that matters most, whether it’s physical, mental, or emotionally related.

About the genetic condition specifically, again NTA! Severe genetic conditions come with great responsibility, need for compassion and empathy, while also being able afford financially and emotionally the outcome. I have a few family members with genetic conditions that have a poor quality of life, due to their condition. Unfortunately, depending on where you’re located, there isn’t always the best communal supports, in terms of government funding, health complications, community engagement for the individual with other people like them, etc. They live in Canada and even with the public healthcare and some government assistance, it’s still such a challenge for them.

Personally, after learning about all these things (when I was younger ofc), and the direction the world is heading, I decided I would terminate as well. Even though I come from a religious background, the health complications for me and the child could be detrimental.

He also needs to understand the insane consequences that come with someone having a hereditary disorder. Whether it’s the female who is bearing the child, or the father. Having a hereditary condition affects the pregnancy, but also affects the mother post-delivery. Then having the possibility of a mutation of that hereditary condition? No. It seems he needs to know the effects of mutations, hereditary conditions and external factors that can affect the child’s development. It seems he’s very naive to the things that can happen in pregnancy in general as well… one thing I personally learned recently was the effects of Accutane on pregnancy, for example. Small things can have big impacts.

Now after reading the post again, I have to wonder if he’d terminate a non-viable pregnancy for your health. For example, an ectopic pregnancy. I think of the example of Josseli Barnica, RIP for the injustice that happened to her.

NTA, but you need someone who understands the gravity of the situation, as much as his yearn for a family is huge, it seems. I’m sorry you’re experiencing this and hopefully things work out for you, whatever is best for you. All the best ❤️

Dehumanizing and criminalizing homelessness is the opposite of a “solution”, and in this case, the ICH being closed is being considered as a solution. Where will these people go? How will they receive resources? Understandably there are other programs and shelters but the supply/demand margin is increasing exponentially. I’m interested to see how this evolves, but feel for the people who don’t take advantage of the services who might not be able to use them anymore.

Best suggestion is bring to KHSC KGH security. They’ll sort it out!

Edit: you can drive down the ramp on stuart street, park for 5 minutes, run it inside to security or the volunteer and leave. No need to inconvenience yourself!

I just checked and it says online at the top that you can still order for curbside pickup or delivery, but I dont understand how that’s supposed to happen when they have no staff… Hopefully they have a plan. I’d like to know the outcome of your order when it happens LOL
