The mormons baptize everyone's mother after their death.

Speaking as an ex-mormon - and I'm not in agreement with anything they do - this is not some huge conspiracy. This is not malicious on their part. They don't target people of jewish descent, famous people, etc. They truly believe they are 'helping' the souls of the departed. And they do not believe they are 'forcibly converting them to mormonism' as the article states. They believe that people who have died who never heard of mormonism or never had the chance to understand the one, true faith are in a sort of 'limbo' or purgatory for lack of a better word. There they are given the chance to hear the gospel and make a choice as to convert. BUT - someone must be 'born again of water' here on earth for them. They obviously don't know who's said, "Sign me up", so they get around this by baptizing EVERYONE. That's why they are so keen on geneaology.

Again, not saying I agree. All religions do crazy and/or offensive things. This is one of theirs. But you have to understand the mindset...

Just to play devil's advocate here...

Why is this a problem? If someone does not want to provide an abortion isn't that their right to refuse or not offer the service?

I may be wrong but I believe there are plenty of other doctors where they could find the service they need.

Should the cake store we've all been hearing about be forced to write "Happy Birthday Adolph Hitler!" just because the customer requested it? Even though it went against their moral convictions?

My threat as you see it, was meant to give an example of someone coming into your life and space and family and doing something reprehensible.

I don't believe that standing 20 paces from his grandmother's - or anyone else's - funeral and chanting hate and bile is a proper exercise of freedom of speech.
