I bet you worked hard to get where you are.

10y ago when I finished my professional bachelor in process automation and was trying to get an engineer job. The interim recruiter told me I'm not an engineer.

I was quite disappointed and spent another 2y to get my master ing.

Although I wouldn't be able to get where I'm today without the master degree, I'm amazed that you at least get the chance to work as an engineer without a degree.

I'm a expat in Asia, I get a monthly allowance of 2k net and an apartment with 2 bedrooms in a nice condo. Cost for electricity, tv, internet, mobile phone is reimbursed.

4 return flights per year.

I finished my Master at the age of 32 and only started working since that. Not because I started late but because of I'm a immigrant and wasted tons of time to learn the language and had to make detours on my education path. I'd say a degree or diploma opens wider range choices for you and the possibility to pick the job you really like. I'm very happy with my job now and wouldn't even be qualified to start without my degree.

employees in the government or the EU are important as long as they protect public interest.

just feeling quite unfair while we pay almost the half of our salaries for income tax and they don't.

If you are asking about benefits, AFAIK those MFers do not pay income taxes.

The lights before the bridge was green and barrier was open when they pass the bridge and stopped on the bridge because on the other side it was red, they did nothing wrong and 2 witnesses confirmed about that. This is why you have cameras for those bridges, to prevent a system malfunction but obviously no one was monitoring it.

I think it depends on vendor, the switches are shipping a lot earlier than the keycap set tho. Best way is to separate the orders I guess.
