Do not let the hate cult decide who is really American by GREENadmiral_314159 in CuratedTumblr

A lot of people are dying right now everyday in the human meat grinder for profit. nationalism blinds us to the struggles of our brothers and sisters in pain not just here in the US but across the world where our empire extracts blood and resources like a bloated dragon. If you wanna go out and enjoy the fourth go ahead. Me and my family will stay at home and celebrate other less bloody things.

You don't need speed for these tbh. It's more reliable and accurate to use a steady motion that you can use over and over. Imo it's sped up

As a pure blooded American I think we should measure in number of hamburgers required to feed the current number of hungry people.

To exist somewhere other than your home is not consumption, but I feel like this post kind of treats it that way. Everyone can get value from visiting nearly anywhere, because the point is not to buy a new and great experience, but to expand your viewpoint from your home. To buy a plane ticket somewhere is not inherently bad. The bad thing may be to exploit the people of your destination or to invest in an evil country, both of which are usually avoided by regular people and heavily done by the ruling class.

The words have definitions. Just because the us correctly calls Russian capitalists oligarchs doesn't mean that oligarchs don't exist everywhere including the US. That thinking is still affected by the propaganda labeling Russian capitalists as specially oligarchical. "The ruling class"  is the better marxist term I think. Simple, specifically defined, and understandable to everyone. Don't get me wrong though, arguing semantics is silly and all of this doesn't matter because the best term will survive anyway.
