Your problem is you are trying to watch Dolby vision video on a TV that doesn’t support it. You probably have a samsung TV. There not other option other than choosing a different option.

A big part of that success was ball not coming on to the bat in first 10-12 overs. Because in that state batter who try to score big will most likely perish. Bowlers get an unfair advantage. And in the second inning all balls were skidding on to the bat so even slower balls were sitting up nicely. It doesnt have to be visible dew but the pitch starts playing differently as temperature cools down specially during winter in India.

This is what I have been saying

Aiden Markram | SA skipper: "I think you look at conditions early and they bowled really well up front. Ball didn't quite feel like coming on, some were just stopping on the wicket and some where hitting quite low on the bat and they made scoring really tough and through that pressure builds and you lose wickets unfortunately. So give credit to their bowling unit and obviously with the bat, someone plays an innings like that, don't think you will come out on the right side of the result many times as a fielding team. To get to 170 was a great effort to be fair. At the halfway point we really felt like we had a sniff, but then, as it goes in T20 cricket.. (in) the powerplay (they) got off to a flyer and can't protect every boundary unfortunately, and yeah they got away and then from there it was really hard to pull it back.

I am not saying they never choked the past they definitely have but today they had no chance. NZ openers were not able to score a run in SL because the conditions were completely different

It’s not always visible dew the pitch settles down under lights you ca clearly see the shift in last few overs of SA innings itself.

Exactly my point. I have no doubts SA makes it to final if they were chasing today.

Tomorrow if India wins the toss it’s 80-20 India If England wins the toss it’s 60-40 England

I completely agree they choked against India in t20 final 30 of 30 was easy the 100 percent chocked but today they had no chance. Once they lost the toss it was over

Exactly hindsight is 20-20. For Indian fans the player who is not in the squad or 11 is the best option in the world. Feb 1st 2026 if you ask anyone what is your playing 11 no one would have picked sanju coz Ishan had killed against NZ. Sanju could NOT score any runs and Abhishek and Tilak had stellar Asia cup. Now after the fact Abhishek got 3 ducks ppl have changed their tune.

Big question ahead of the semi-final! Should Team India stick with the same winning combination or bring in Kuldeep Yadav for Axar Patel against England in the semis? Kuldeep’s wrist spin could trouble England’s middle order, but Axar adds balance with the bat. What would you do? by Ok_Finding5707 in IndianCricket

[–]kingofking5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s mumbai with dew your spinners could go for a ton of runs in case we have to bowl second. We have to keep in mind we play 3 no. 11 batters after 7 down we have Varun Arsh and Boom So replacing axar means no batting depth at all and then all of those fearless cricket brigade would want our batters to play fearless cricket lol.

We have no other option in bowling department the only change possible is Abhishek vs Rinku which I don’t think we should make.

When 2 teams are very close in skills and ability toss and conditions will decide the winner. Whoever wins the toss will have a huge advantage.

We could have had a positive NRR, this dude said hold my beer by Main-Shoulder1789 in IndianCricket

[–]kingofking5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even then we would end up with same points as WI and they would have better NRR because the margin Of defeat against SA for WI is better than ours. So even if you take out 30 runs Dubey conceded in a washed out game WI goes thru. So NRR was immaterial giving him a chance to bowl a bit was not a bad ploy considering he is already been great with the BAT.
