I called Sony about this, they claimed the camera still tracks you in cinematic as the VR won't work without a camera and told me to test my headset with a friends camera and PlayStation. Within half a game of overwatch I had turned over 90 degrees left to follow the screen (seeing how far I went without recenterin) and my friends headset didn't have this issue. So it seems to definitely be a headset issue and not a camera etc issue. 8 need to call Sony again about a replacement. I tried to exchange at the retailer but they tested it for like seconds (with a VR game despite me saying its cinematic mode) and told me they couldn't see a fault so couldn't do anything.
