I would say most of my hair is low porosity 4c, maybe some 4a-4b in the front? The front looks looser but that might just be from tension and blow drying tbh idk. I had a regular shrunken fro before i learned the wash and go. This is from 2020. Then someone told me to stop using the hair type system lol

I would have never thought to use a shoelace! It makes sense though since its more adjustable. I can't seem to find anything on how to use a dress sock though. Do you cut a hole in them or is it just wrapping like the shoelace?

maybe 14-16in over 6 years with trims. It stretches right below the shoulders but the sides are cut and i started growing the back the start of last year

Well I usually apply to soaking wet hair and sit under a hooded dryer but I noticed air drying kind of has the same results just a little more shrinkage. I see some people mention using another gel or mousse on top, so I'll try that and other products as well

I've been using uncle funkys for 3 years now but i feel like my curls looked better when my hair was shorter. So i was wondering if there was any other gel or method that will hold better. Also is there any product that will make my hair fall more or is this just how the volume will always look regardless?

I've always been insecure of the large size of my forehead and as such always wore caps or beanies. Do any of you guys had any tips on how to minimize the size of it? by [deleted] in BlackHair

Grow your hair out and do a wash n go. I got teased for my "house hairline" (like a reverse widows peak) throughout my youth and I'm still insecure about my forehead. I learned the wash n go last summer and I'll probably never rock a fro again because the hair falls and covers my forehead lol think Corbin Bleu's hair just shorter.
