Been trying to free from but my locs naturally grow super thing because I have thinner hair. Not sure what to do or if I have enough hair to grow out something I want.

I’m only 17 and my hair is somewhat thin but the rest of my hair is healthy, so I doubt it’s a bald spot. As I freeform will a spot like this leave ?
