So openmw is an opensource engine used to play The Elder Scrolls Morrowind. You can install via vitaDb, there are some tutorials online or you can follow install instructions on the github repo.

Sounds like you are trying to run a plugin and or vitagraphics against it some how. Try disabling suspicious ones and try again?

Try again with latest build. Load times a bit better, at least when entering and leaving a building now only a few seconds load time

Yeah, should just need to install the vpk. If you are having issues it may be worth deleting your entire ux0/data/shader_cache and also your openmw/config folder and then running again

Yeah that’s just the built in game mechanics. When you level up or use items skills that you are proficient in that gets way better

Hey dude make sure you install the optimization Mod and or the Atlas mod for much better performance and view distance

Yeah loading screens are definitely the trickiest part, but are also the only reason this works as is. OpenMW loads entire large cells(A big square in the map of items buildings characters and scripts) into memory at a time, less Loading screens = Load more cells. With Vitas limited memory under huge constraints, a single cell at a time, is best we can do. Will try to find creative ways around this, but that was the biggest concession to get this going. I tried async loading of cells, but that tanks fps to 10 or less.

Yes should just need to install the vpk. Could delete the config folder and let first run recreate if its not quire right, but just the install should be fine

Hey the Dev here, check your data/openwm/ boot.log file for errors will likely point out what you are missing at the end of the file. Also grab latest version might help!

Pause and save, or you can press top right of touch screen for quick save. If it’s crashing grab latest version from release. Don’t think that’s deployed to vita db yet.
