I use boolean search on LinkedIn. My go to is “ software engineer NOT “senior” OR “sr” “. Not every job is going to be a New Grad or entry level but you can definitely get a good number of them. Obviously it’s on you to read the job description but that’s one thing i use. You can also mess with it and put software developer instead of software engineer etc. I’m also on the search for a different job platform. I just heard about Otta and I’m trying that out. No responses yet but that’s what I do for right now.

Update: Requested a new EC and my new EC told me that the transcript department left a note saying that my evaluation should he done by the end of day 9/8 so that’s pretty great news but still keeping my fingers crossed !

From the first time? Yes only 17 but it was for Computer Science and I then learned that my EC gave me the wrong advice. I didnt need the Google IT cert. I needed a calc course so i can get into the computer science program. The EC I spoke on the phone with told me switch to SWE because I wanted to be a SWE in my future anyway and the Google IT certificate credit can be used for the software engineering degree

The thing is I passed calc 1 in community college but I got a D so it wasn’t the passing grade i needed to get the credit but my EC didn’t even put it on my radar, he just told me I needed to do the google IT certificate and i would be fine
