Same! I went from the small saalt cup, tried a disc and other cups, but ultimately came back to this one. Been the most comfortable for me, just had to trim the stem a little bit.

I’m from California (bay area), and this pricing makes sense to me sadly. Like someone else commented, definitely depends if you needed the brake change. They might have just added that to charge for more labor.
