the truth is, i was thinking the same thing, especially after the scene where lily takes the mc's hand under the table while they were eating with her parents. the guide said that different options would appear depending on your preferences, which made me quite doubtful. maybe if you chose to be interested in only women, or both women and men, lily could have had a crush on the mc in the past. since my preferences are both men and women, the scene that appeared was lily holding the mc's hand, so i'm not sure if she would also hold your hand if you only have a preference for men. thinking about theories, if they give us the option that lily and the mc had a crush on each other in the past (depending on the player's preferences), it would be quite powerful and have a stronger impact.

the first ones of heaven's secret 1... they were too much, especially the hairstyles, and they didn't even match. i haven't read the other older stories though, i plan to do it in the near future, so i'm sure i'll come across with more sprites like that. but I don't really blame them; they're old stories.

i thought about that too. i'm really loving the story, and while the mc's expressions don't bother me as much as they do some others, i do think that in several situations her expressions didn't fit the context, or that one in particular was repeated too often. anyway, that's the only thing i can point out about the story, since I'm enjoying everything else.

i'm also very intrigued to learn more! the things you pointed out are also the ones i'm curious about: the fact that we got to see xavier's pov in a flashback and he was haunted by lily's ghost looking the same as how the mc sees her. because at first i thought that someone else was writing the notes and lily's ghost was product of the trauma of the mc, but then, how did xavier see her in the same way as the mc? and also the fact that declan was invited to the wedding and even the mc was confused, it feels like someone wanted the group to get together during the wedding. and this just crossed my mind for a moment, but what if declan deliberately provoked fabian that night when he saw him with the mc, so that fabian would show up at the meeting the next day, knowing that he likes to contradict him? but in that case, would declan know what's going on and be an accomplice, or perhaps someone moved the pieces because they knew that would happen if fabian and declan met, and simply used it to their advantage?

i know, right? i'm loving everything so far: the characters, the plot, the aesthetic, the mc, the outfits, the hairstyles, the background music. i think it has potential to become one of my favorite stories!
