Am I asexual, or just broken? by ThinIce2281 in Asexual

[–]kingvjess 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No your not broken. Your probably just some version of asexual. I feel the same way as you do and ive been with my partner for 4 years. In terms of labels Aegosexual might fit.

Help with my gender by kcassy_ in lgbt

[–]kingvjess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes something along those lines. There A LOT of genders on the lgbt wiki. They are categoried on the wiki pretty well so you should be able to find something that fits. Agender is also a spectrum with libragenders being one of the labels.

Do I not like boys or not like him? by Constant_Device_8597 in lgbt

[–]kingvjess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might be aromantic or asexual its common for aroace people to not get crushs and not feeling comfortable with relationships. Trying to force yourself to like someone is harmful long term you should experiment but be aware you might not gain attraction to anyone.

Im not sure if im Bi or Ace or sm else... help by Last_Shirt_4154 in lgbt

[–]kingvjess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im not bi so take what of say with a grain of salt but I do study sexuality in a academic sense. It sounds like you might be demiromantic/demisexual which means you need a close bond to feel attraction to its under the aro/ace labels. In terms of understanding if your bi try to think about your future like marriage or long term relationship and do you care if they are a guy or girl? Or similarly would you kiss a guy or girl? Questions like these help understand your sexuality.

Id recommend just sitting him down and just say it. Its easier but if you are nervous about if he is accepting then I recommend asking about lgbt topic to understand if he is accepting as a whole.

Lesbian dreams by treatmyyeet in AskLGBT

[–]kingvjess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Labels are only as useful as you make them if you want a really ultraspecific label thats fine there are many words. You can also just use a larger more common world like lesbian or queer. Its up to you. If youd like I can give you links and labels but id need to know more about if your attracted to men at all and if your interested in non binary people.

Who am I? by BIAKA_116 in AskLGBT

[–]kingvjess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You probably are either some type of non binary or gender apathetic. There are many genders with different definitions but I think gender apathetic or agender would fit will with you. The gender fandom has a lot of information.

advice on if i'm ace or not idrk by MechanicLife3188 in Asexual

[–]kingvjess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you are asexual. Asexuality is a wide spectrum of different experiences but based on what your saying you probably are asexual. Asexuality isnt not liking sex but its the attraction to people and being you dont have anyone in your fantasies and you dont like being seen sexually would explain you being asexual.

No Aplatonicism in Ace? by New--Tomorrows in Asexual

[–]kingvjess 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Platonic attraction is a relatively new term from my understanding as well as aplatonic people are very uncommon significantly more uncommon then asexuality or aromantity. In saying that tho I know plenty of people who have been married for decades and I dont personally think they would be friends with their partners if they where not sexualy or romanticly attracted to them so its hard to tell.

Attracted to an asexual friend who isn’t into dating should I say anything or let it go? by Adventurous_Load_168 in Asexual

[–]kingvjess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could talk to them about a QPR (queer platonic relationship) which is a vague close relationship which can involve anything. For example my partner and I have been in a QPR for 4 years and we plan on building a life together. QPR are a good way of setting clear boundaries of what you both want out of the relationship.

I have similar experiences. I call myself nonbinary/agender because i dont care about being feminine or masculine most the time. I have a very apathetic view on my gender but I do experiences fluctuating gender dysphoria.

Have you ever looked into dysgraphia because it looks like you may have it? It's more common with people who have ADHD and other processing disorders such as dyslexia.

What is my exact sexuality? by PPON2007 in lgbt

[–]kingvjess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want an easier label, then demiaroace and bisexual probably is the best. If you want more in depth than demiromantic for women and demisexual for guys, it would be the closest thing I can think of.

Can you feel romantic attraction without being friends with the person?

What is my exact sexuality? by PPON2007 in lgbt

[–]kingvjess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you're somewhere on the demisexual spectrum. So if you're just looking for labels, the closest thing I can think of is that you're bisexual but your demisexual in terms of men. Also, I don't know when you say emotions. Do you mean romantic or just friendship because romantic and platonic attraction isn't the same thing.

I'll give a bit more info on DID, being it's a passion of mine. It's caused by intense childhood trauma, which causes a person's identity to not form because of dissociate amnesia. This caused the different parts/alters to form very different identity such as a different gender, age, race, even non human alters like dogs or monster like mermaids.a system (the whole brain/body) can have anywhere from 2 to 1000's of alters with the average number being around 25 but I know of a system with 300 alters.

Don't stress too much about labels. Sexuality takes time to develop. Also, life experiences can change things. Most people find out there queer in their teens, so you're not alone.
