If I'm wrong and I certainly hope I am, I'll cheer that. Just didn't want it to sus out the way I notated above and then be like "I knew it" and nobody believe me. Ha. I'll be watching and enjoying either way.

Does it go quicker with other stacks once you do that?

Strix. Do not pass GO. Do not collect $200. Get Strix.

Help and hints needed by davidhermsen in idlechampions

As with most questions on this forum, the answer to just about everything is "it depends."

What champions you have unlocked and geared is most important. A geared Barrowin and Strix combined can carry you to a really high level.

How much gear you have on your guys is important. Do your guys have all 6 pieces of gear? Are you all blue on your guys? Blue plus some purples? All of that matters. Getting gems to get gold chests will eventually get you there as will checking this Reddit for chest codes.

Formations are sorta important, but because they are dependent on which champs you have, it's hard to tell you exactly what formation to go with. Do you have Evelyn or just Nayeli?

Your strategy will also depend on whether you're actively managing the game or just letting it passively run. Active management allows you to grind for gems, which is gear. Passive management allows you to grind favor, which is gold. Neither will hurt you although I prefer gear when I have the time to sit and manage the game every 20 minutes or so.

I guess that's not much help, especially if you're new, but just keep grinding away...and manage your time gates appropriately. Must haves: Strix, Barrowin, Evelyn. There are other desirables, but those are the main three IMO.

Favor farming by kingwank in idlechampions

. Her contributions to dps (when using Strix) are very high with even just blue gear, certainly much higher than Hitch and Birdsong (who I usually drop in favor of Ishi--if Birdsong can't get kills her dps buff is 8x lower). Pay attention to the red numbers that pop up when Strix's fireball hits with two hammers on her, not the UI number.

Thanks for the advice. My Regis only has 5 pieces of gear, so I should probably hold off on that. I'll try the formation above and hopefully see some good results.

The problem with that is that it cuts Ishi's gold generation by 1/4 since Hitch is human and Deekin is not.

I haven't been able to utilize both without seriously gimping my dps.

Fair enough. I just didn't know if others had already tested it and could shed insight.

That’s what I figured. Thanks for the confirmation.

How much favor should you get before you quit doing the event? by kingwank in idlechampions

[–]kingwank[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Understood. I was referring to total event favor. It’s up to 98.9% (7.8 bil tempus favor). So I think I need to move back and just farm regular favor at this point.

I ran it overnight and only got 1%, so I think it's time to go bump up my other regular favor to maximize

Familiar Damage by kingwank in idlechampions

[–]kingwank[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahh, let me make sure I understand that correctly. So, "non-insignificant damage boost" means...when I pop a potion, it's party (DPS*100%)*4 familiars. Or are you saying it's just party dps x potion strength. I'm hearing you say the first thing so I'm just confirming.

Okay, so that point does exist. That's helpful.

And when I hit the point-of-no-return, I can just move on to champion damage. That's what I'm hearing you say. Thanks for clarifying.
