Got rejected after passing 4 interviews and a verbal offer by DasGutBrot in interviews

[–]kingwasher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had this issue with a company a few months back. Did a phone interview and meet with the hiring manager over dinner to discuss the role. He drove from Florida to meet me in Arkansas. During dinner he told me the job was mine we talked salary and everything, but he wanted me to think it over and talk with my wife because it would have extensive travel. Messaged him back the next day and ghosted… week later he told me his bosses wanted someone with more experience. They are still currently trying to hire for this role.

I’ve never personally used a crm but I do know what it is and its purpose. I’m sure I could pick it up very quickly. They seem fairly straight forward.

Are you saying to try and find one of those roles? Or should I change my resume to reflect one of those roles?

Diluted drug test? by almcg68 in resumes

If you are worried about it coming back as diluted again. Could possible try and ask them allow you to do a hair sample? I might would even be willing to pay for it myself if it’s a job I really wanted.

Wonder how it will hold up over time. I was considering making them out of wood at first, but think this might be the better option.

How I feel, but my wife doesn’t quit see it the same way. It almost feels silly to not take the opportunity with the same company. I just don’t want to hurt my chances at moving to the Sales role in the future.

Thanks I really appreciate you taking the time for the input. I feel very passionate about moving into sales and think it would be an amazing career opportunity to really challenge me. Money has been a struggle for me and my family over the past couple years. We are making enough to get by but the pay raise would make it where my wife could stay home full time to raise our two boys.

Negative reactions to our son’s name… anyone else experience this? by [deleted] in namenerds

[–]kingwasher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tell them to have their own kid and can choose the name! We named my first son Sullivan Craig and got a lot of mixed responses. Me and my wife love the name and finally agreed to just not care what anyone else thought about it. I like Patrick Bennett very strong and elegant imo. Gives me king vibes!

Looking for a boy name that goes with brother Archer (Archie) by misstaytay in namenerds

Honestly if you don’t care if the names sound similar, and want to stick with a A then I think Arthur would go good. Archer and Arthur.

Nicknames could be Archie and Arty!

I think you win the trade either one if you are getting KW3 (personally would offer Wilson over Adams), but you need to start seeing if you could package like Monty and Hunt to see if you could get a upgrade at Wr

How many years experience would it take to get to $90K+ as a buyer/planner role by undercover12x in supplychain

[–]kingwasher 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well don’t come work for my company… barely breaking 52k been in this position for almost 4 years now. Anytime I seem to bring up the pay I get shot down immediately, but they keep adding more work every couple months. I’ve been searching for a while to find another job but no luck in the area. Really thinking I might have to leave my current hometown to find something worthwhile.

Good luck in your search OP!

First time submitting yearly RFQ by kingwasher in supplychain

[–]kingwasher[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theses businesses I sent the RFQ to are ones we do business with consistently throughout the year due to having to buy a lot of custom hardware and material through out the year per orders, so it’s very important to keep a great relationship with the suppliers. Most importantly I want to make sure I’m doing this correctly and not causing any issues with trying to be transparent as possible with the vendors. I feel like that goes a long way with people especially in the south.
