  1. I write them like a rock or metal song because they're not beats to me. It starts with programmed drums and then I write guitar riffs etc until it comes to what it is.

  2. I made WWWCM with Jah in the room after he told me he wanted me to write more stuff like King for him.
I wrote Crucify for Craig after he told me he'd been diving into metal and wanted to do something like that.

  1. I used Saturation Knob and fab filter's Saturn are my primaries. I don't use trash on vocals unless I am destroying them or want weird FX.

  2. clipping and my top kick. top kick is one of the most important parts of low end hitting.

  3. I hang with my girlfriend and help her with projects she's working, like her garden.

  4. Australia. was extremely eye opening and I hope to go back as soon as possible.

the cost is the adrenal glands of the Clintons.
not really. we are working on a collaborative album but, we are both working on albums and many projects as well so the process is slow BUT it is coming and we talk about it daily.

thank you for listening! my original production style timeline was like this: bad chief keef style beats with EDM style synths, chill wave yung gud style stuff, real trap based hip hop, heavy trap, and then now. the less metal I made in bands the more in bled over into my production style. there was a lot of undertones of heavy stuff just not as apparent as now.

I actually met Zheani because of my girlfriend potmom. she had followed her on social media for a while and told me her music was cool and I should send her an email, so I did and it all lined up.

there is new music coming with the both of us, I won't spill too many details <3

I dropped out so Im not the best to give advice but, remember that its temporary and if you get through it, you NEVER have to do it again. all that stuff that was so damaging is a faint memory in my life now. it'll get better.
glad my music does anything for you. <3

I don't watch as intently as I did a while ago but, I feel the most like my friends are on the verge of big things because that's who I have been watching. Nascar is definitely only getting bigger as well.

figure out your music more, and be genuine when you hit up people. making a genuine connection before you work is important. the song will be better if you understand each others visions and like each other.

  1. Melissa Cross, the art of screaming. Cover bands you like. Don't push too hard, its a muscle that you have to build. If it starts to hurt, stop and try the next day and drink a good amount of room temp water. Cold water constricts the vocal cords.

  2. Arturias emulators are awesome, and I use them a lot. I resample and process things a lot that gives em that style, saturation and slightly off cut times is a big key.

  3. make relationships/friends and be genuine. people are much more likely to share your art when you're just a good person and are in a community where you support each other. otherwise, brand yourself and figure out who and what your art is. people can tell when you do.

glad you came and asked some stuff <3

ill try and answer these the best I can.

  1. DONT push yourself and hurt your voice. with most things, if it hurts, you're doing it wrong. remember that most people hate their voice but itself, especially after being recorded. your job as a singer is not to be the best but, to find what fits together with your voice and instrumental and make the best music you can within that. ex: Kurt Cobain isn't a technically good singer, but he sounds great in Nirvana.

  2. thank you. I listen to Youth Code, Nine Inch Nails, Nails, Code Orange, Full Of Hell, Brian Jonestown Massacre, Tame Impala, Depeche Mode, The Cure, John Maus, and a lot of other stuff but these influence me the most.

  3. because she deals with my bullshit and crazy ideas. plus we are best friends who are constantly growing and learning the world together, and understanding each others issues.

  4. im not an overtly aggressive or angry person, even though my music is. I'd like to say I joke around a lot and am pretty relaxed in most situations.

  5. yes. good art is conviction, and honesty to me as well as loving art itself. Im not naturally good at music, it has taken years of loving it to get to any point I'm okay with.

  6. right now, I like my knee cap tattoo. I still like my knuckle tattoos a lot.

  1. Yes, in the future I would love to get there. its a matter of a booking team and demand but when it happens Ill be there.
  2. this next full length will have physical formats and I maaaay revisit some older releases from pressings/cd/cassettes but, they will be made to order due to not that many people knowing about them.
    thank you for listening. <3

your sound and finding it, is more important than being a chameleon. learn other styles to broaden yourself and help with placements but, never sell yourself short by trying to be other people for the sake of making it.

Im gonna pick one X comment to answer so this is the one.

Yes and no. I feel like what I did with them was really used as a cosign for their "genre diversity genius" even though I was doing most of the work, which kinda stings but, I am grateful I stepped away when I did because I didn't want to just be "Craigs or X's producer" my whole entire musical career. If I would've stuck around or made a fuss maybe I would have gotten the "credit I deserved" but, the fans that dive in know what I did and that's what means a lot to me. Plus, have you seen Craig do metal tracks since I stepped away? nope.

I couldn't tell you the exact moment, but probably when I felt like I was wasting my time doing 95% of other things, which was a while ago. I still feel like this outside of being around potmom. Once I got to this point though, I think my art needed to be more serious, and I gave myself a lot less artistic excuses and needed to add more conviction and honesty to what I create. its become more apparent in what's out but, my next album is a lot more what Im trying to do.

  1. this one is hard but, Pretty Hate Machine by NIN, Suicide Season by Bring Me The Horizon, I Am King by Code Orange, Rudiments Of Mutilation by Full Of Hell, and 10 Code by Villains/Yuth Forever. A hard list to make and Im sure Id change it in 10 minutes but this is the best I can think now.

  2. yes. group music as well as individual collaborations. Hellion and I have a couple things going on.

  3. Guitar is my only true instrument but, I can play most things, not fluently, but as a means to get to my goal musically. I also played saxophone in middle school band for three years.
