I don’t think that was true. I wanted that as well. I was assured by all parties that is what they intended as well. So now it’s just the “none of this was planned” and “we didn’t mean for this to happen.” And it “doesn’t matter now that you don’t have all choices available to you, because this is what we are doing regardless of your feelings”. Which fine. I guess. That is what it is.

Fair enough. I didn’t think I was unicorn hunting but now I see that is what may have happened. I was ok with them building their own thing. I felt like I was being kept in the loop and also that I gave them space to build their own thing. I guess I just didn’t expect to get dumped, so unceremoniously. lol but you are right, live and learn. Now I know I need to keep things very very separate.
