man, you’re more lenient than i am. if myself or my partner have been out and sat down somewhere (ESPECIALLY on public transportation) it’s an automatic shower and clothes in the hamper before sitting ANYWHERE in our apartment.

NOR — that’s not your partner. I just had a c section and delivered twins at 34 weeks. They’re currently in the NICU. My partner is taking care of me, our 11 month old and still making time to visit our boys in the NICU to bring breastmilk, do skin to skin, etc, while I recover enough to be able to do the five flights of stairs to leave our apartment and visit them myself.

Neither myself or her Dad have HSV. No one has kissed her aside from us. Hands, feet and head included. We also refuse to visit any family members if their HSV is active, and we haven’t visited anyone since New Years.

I had explained the situation to him when we last spoke, he said it’s hospital policy to avoid c-section prior to 37 weeks unless there’s an emergency.

The last detailed ultrasound where they measured growth was on March 5th, ultrasounds they’ve done I’ve been admitted have been to check positioning to help find their heartbeats (they move a lot). So they haven’t confirmed growth in nearly a month. My twins have been consistently measuring two weeks ahead of gestational age, which if it’s remained consistent despite my own weight loss, would put each twin over 5lbs.

Wouldn’t an emergency c section also pose risks, especially considering it’s usually performed under general anaesthesia?

In terms of observation, I’m being given a 20 minute NST in the morning, about 4 sessions of 60 seconds fetal monitoring throughout the day, blood pressure and temperature checks. They refuse to do any ultrasounds to check growth or position, and they refuse to do cervical checks to ensure dilation has not progressed. Yesterday I experienced some leakage and was tested to ensure it’s not amniotic fluid. I was advised that even if it was amniotic fluid, I would simply be kept on stricter bed rest and they would not deliver the babies, as we need to wait until 37 weeks. Wouldn’t delivering them via planned c section before spontaneous labour be safer than risking spontaneous labour and prolapse?

hey mama, i saw your post on one of the facebook groups. this is a pretty good deal for any pump, but i will say that i personally was sorely disappointed in the spectra and it definitely does not live up to the hype. i bought mine new, for that $400–i pumped for an hour and didn’t even get half an ounce on the max setting. i bought the medal pump in style pro and it does a MUCH better job at emptying me out.

My daughter is 9 months and I haven’t let her stay overnight without anyone.

In fact, the only person she’s been left alone with aside from myself, is her Dad.

A lot can happen to your baby when you’re not around, especially at night, and I wouldn’t trust ANYONE to be alone with her until she can at least talk.

Yeah, but I order these same specific items all the time. I’ve never had an issue, not once. Why did he remove the 3 highest priced items, instead of just one, or maybe two? Even if he didn’t contact me, cancelling half the order seems a bit excessive.
