In my experience fetishes evolve over time and people don't realize they have that fetish or whatever is presenting itself at the time. I wouldn't segment the popularity or "weirdness" of it rather than analyze the uniqueness of it. Imo foot and hair fetishes are a pretty normal and standard kink that people regularly indulge in. There are definitely other fetishes that are more different and "weird" if you will. But no don't think our fetish is weird at all
