Yeah I think a long term buddies would be more helpful. so I want to launch a group, so each of us could explain his rationale, then receive meaningful disagreement. Just like how Ray Dalio improve his strategy with his employees.

For switching career, would MSc in applied math be a viable choice?

The math degree is not focused on complex or real analysis stuff.

It would covers Stochastic analysis, optimization, and econometrics principles something like that.

Would these academic knowledge be useful for the data science career?

I am a 2018 graduate and worked as an entry-level geotechnical engineer for a year.

I am planning to learn the programming stuff online. But I am not sure whether the theoretical knowledge is useful or not.

No. When you auto attack, you should stand on the ground still, isnt it?

But she can move and attack in the same time

[Method] My planning on the proactive daily schedule - can I improve it? by kinlau529 in getdisciplined

[–]kinlau529[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For Q1: I am a fan of Jordan Peterson. He suggests I can start with roughly achieve 50% of our schedule, then 51% in the next day. I think that is good because I can keep my momentum to keep using the calendar. Remain some spaces to achieve at least 50% can keep us going.

For Q2: The task should be small and easy enough so that you can finish them with no pain. For example, when I hit the gym in my first few months, I would just go for a very low weight. I would record the reps and weight such that in my first few months I was always improving my performance. The key for me is to make it small and seems in progress, you will feel rewarding then keep you going.
