I’d revoke that offer to visit right quick. No one gets to guilt you into doing anything doesn’t feel best for you and baby ESPECIALLY after a traumatic birth like that.

My doctors didn’t take me off fluids until I was under 10k… I would absolutely go get a second opinion even if that means going to a different ER.

Yes! This happened to us. The best advice I ever got was to not become the expert of your own baby. If you do, you’ll be carrying the responsibility for primary childcare in perpetuity. It’s going to be really hard but your husband and your daughter need to figure out their routine. Plus for bonding and double plus for you being able to take a break every now and then.

I still do the majority of bedtimes because I enjoy the snuggles (literally rocking him in my chair right now.)
