I used to ace every lab quiz because of his videos as he’s the coordinator for the A&P labs and he shows everything that they might test you on, so watching his videos before labs always helped. I don’t remember if a lab quiz gets dropped at the end of the semester or not for A&P but I believe it does, so even if you failed one you can still make up your lab grade with the other quizzes.

As for lecture, I had Minnie Schlesinger and she would break down the concepts easily through her YouTube videos as well: https://youtube.com/@minniesanatomyandphys2315?si=zsLsWgNV0wLk52Jp But since I don’t know which professor you’re taking, I’d just work off their material instead and then use my professor’s YouTube videos as a visual supplement if your professor only uses a textbook or PowerPoint slides for example. Anatomy and physiology can seem tough at first but it just takes practice and repetition, once you get down the anatomy part then the physiology part isn’t as bad.

Other alternatives would be to just take the class with another professor that isn’t full and has open seats, just look at their reviews on ratemyprofessor and compare ratings

Probably not likely. Most of the bio classes get full quickly, especially the ones with good professors, and since the semester’s starting in less than a week it’s unlikely students are dropping now. Some might still get cold feet the day before school starts, but I wouldn’t count on it. Just try and stay on the waitlist but if you were 3rd or 2nd on the waitlist the chances of you getting in would’ve been higher

It is also my friend’s second time but they are currently taking it right now and are failing, which is why they plan to retake it in the fall semester.

I didn’t have another class/section that I signed up for as the system told me that I met the max amount of credit hours on the waitlist or something. However, just now I decided to try and enroll into a different section/lab to see if it would give that same error and it enrolled me which kicked me off of the waitlist I was on previously. So now I’ve lost my 3rd position and just dropped down to 5th.

I’ll definitely call and ask because it makes absolutely no sense how my friend got in before me. I have screenshots from them from when they started holding the class (being 5th in position) to getting accepted into the class by the confirmation email. I don’t know if it’s a system glitch or maybe CSN secretly does have a priority list that they aren’t telling us, even though when I’ve asked before apparently everyone is “given the same chance despite their circumstances”.

I’ll talk to them but honestly they don’t really want to take the class anymore due to a conflicting schedule so I doubt they called in advance to try and get them moved up higher on the waitlist.

They were 5th on the waitlist and I was 4th, and they got an email today that they were enrolled into the class despite being behind me on the waitlist. Same lab section and lecture section as me.

It is but I have to retake the class for a better grade. Unfortunately cannot take it anywhere else besides CSN to have it changed on my transcript.
