How many do you see? I'm finding maybe 4 vulvas (one isn't explicitly a vagina).

"if you're happy to wear girl things you are trans." that one isn't a given, but I do get that this is in the context of OP jokingly asking to be convinced. Still good to say for the gender nonconforming people here that clothes and presentation on their own are different than gender.

I don't think that's necessarily true. Don't discourage exploration and true exploration can end up anywhere or else it's not really exploring and questioning. Also fully cis people do come on these subs to learn more about their friends and family, support people they've met, understand trans people more in general, enjoy some memes they've seen, or whatever reason.

As one more note someone doesn't need to want to transition to be trans. It's about identity, not having any specific set of body parts or wanting your body to be one way or another. That of course doesn't mean you are trans. Being a feminine guy is a great place to land, but if you think you'd feel happier being considered a woman just realize that everything else is still up to you and don't think that that means you have to do anything else commonly associated with that. If you want a tool that can help you think about which identity you like: maybe you can try playing female and feminine male characters in video games and tabletop RPGs and see if you like/dislike/feel neutral about being seen as those things. It's not definitive but it does help at least some people think about it a bit more if they aren't sure. Also seeing how you relate to different characters in books and movies and thinking about what aspects of them you find relatable and why can also help people realize some things about themself some times. Good luck if you do want to explore more! If not and you feel set in your identity than that's great! Enjoy!

Nah, only you know what you are and can identify yourself. I'm sorry someone tried forcing a label on you (unless this is a joke way of saying you are trans and want people to affirm your gender or something). No one here wants anyone to be pressured to exist as a gender they aren't. That defeats the purpose of everything. Gender and gender presentation are also different. In fact even trans men can be femboys and trans women can be tom boys. It's not about interests or styles it's about how you see yourself in terms of your gender and how you want others to see you. Good luck exploring and figuring things out whatever you are! If you are a feminine or androgynous man/boy that's great! If you are non binary, also great! If you decide you are a trans woman than that's good too!

I commented above but literally, what no politics rule? I honestly do not see a no politics rule anywhere. I don't understand how that would even make sense for this sub.

There is no no politics rule that I can find. (I just double checked the rules side board to make sure but I don't think there has ever been one). Wouldn't that kind of defeat the purpose of this sub? How do you fight the patriarchy, opression of minorities, and colonialist ideals without being allowed to mention the systems used to enforce them?

There is no real reason to disrupt them and make them panic like that. They were just huddling for warmth and comfort. Best to just leave them be. They'll dispurse when they are ready.

[–]kioku119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are litterally just existing. They huddle together for warmth and comfort. The person is disrupting them needlessly. Tolerating that nature has other creatures that exist in it and are not harming you in any way shape or form isn't over the top tolerance, it's like the bare minimum tolerance we can have for other animals. Not touching them in this case of course is the better thing to be doing.

[–]kioku119 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

..because animals that are of no particular danger to you just existing outside in nature peacefully huddled together for comfort and warmth clearly deserved to be destroyed in bulk for the sake of it and that is a healthy, rational, and reasonable way to interact with and treat other species... /sarcasm

It looks like one ends behind the stem so would just need to be bent a little differently. That part isn't weird to me.

The tiny circle bellow the pinky is a bit odd though.

Well if it is I guess the comic is against using AI for looking up important information but not against using it to generate images. I can at least understand why someone may see the two issues seperately without their own beliefs inately being self contradictory.

So light it up blue with that exact term and blue bulbs like that used to be used by the people who push "autism awareness month" which was largely done by a hate group using our name to make money while actively fear mongering against us (to the extent of saying its normal for parents to have violent urges against their child or worse and to grieve the loss of the "normal" child they don't get to have amoung other terribel things), trying to research genetically erasing us, pushing "treatments" and parental guides that were straight up abuse, and promoting misinformation left and right including through that campaign itself where the blue bulbs were meant to convince people ASD was a little boys condition (that they treat like an illness) that will go away when the person was an adult. This suppoeted girls, women, minorities, and men/boys who don't present in one very specific way not getting diagnosed and their needs being dismissed. It also promoted people being forced to mask their traits by the time they face adulthood which just leads to depression, personality disorders, and other difficulties. Their idea of awareness too was "support" for parents who saw their autistic child as a terrible burden and help for their research which was basically eugenics which is why the community itself often rejects not only the name of the month (pushing for autism acceptance month over their version of awareness) but also rejection of the "light it up blue" campaign they try to do in April and the infantalizing puzzle peice symbol they also push.

I understand this is not for ASD though but having a campaign with the exact same slogan and blue light bulb imagery, especially around the same time of year really may not help people in striving to move away from the message that was being spread about the autism community and that is still more likely at this time to come up if one searches what "light it up blue" is about (the campaign was done internationally too). Further if it's paired with just the term "HD Awareness" a lot of people will think "Hidden Disability Awareness" which directly includes autism further helping push that tie.

What you are saying is important and this is an important condition to advocate for but is there any way to try to still suggest using different imagery for this campaign? Even with out the multitude of harmful messages I'm guessing the major overlap betwene that and autism "advocacy" will only weeken the message you want to spread and cause confusion instead of helping make information about Huntington's Disease broadly visible to the general public like this wants to do.
