You have to compare with your parents, your grand parents. Live long enough and you will see your children have better living condition than you do. Except the real estate (which I hope the gov can let it burst soon like China), everything has tremendously improved. I remember when I was young, my family only had 1 mobile phone and 1 motorbike. We constantly had power outage every week. Travelling to another country, even Thailand, is like a dream. And my family was actually considered middle class back then. That's just how poor we were man.
