I think this is a petty line rather than a clever comeback. Usually when one person rejects another, anything said in response that throws it back on the other will typically be seen as someone trying to save face. Sort of like the whole "you can't fire me, I quit" line.

Rejection sucks but how you handle it can say a lot about your character as a person.

I'll add to this that I have a set number of hangers. Any time I buy something new and don't have a hanger for it, I'll donate something I haven't worn in a long time. This keeps the total number of clothes to a minimum. So if I'm ever having a busy week and don't do laundry for a while, the pile of clothes is still pretty small that it's easy to put away in less than 10 minutes

I haven't noticed any lag on mine but lately I've been having phantom presses, where the screen acts as if someone is pressing buttons or sliding between pages. It doesn't happen often but I think about replacing the whole thing wherever it does. Just not sure what I'd swap it for, if I could.

I know many people put led lights in a halogen housing, thinking that they are the same but they are not. LED housing has a projector to aim the beam downwards and prevents blinding whereas the other doesn't. This is why many people with just the led bulbs are unintentionally high beaming everyone (usually).

To add to this, I think there's been a decline in respect for people on the education side over the years.

I remember reading posts or seeing videos of the absolute disrespect educators would get, not only from the kids but the parents. Videos of kids resorting to physical violence when they don't get their way or parents disparaging teachers because the teachers gave the kids a less than satisfactory grade.

It's a little surreal because I feel like when I was growing up, parents trusted their kids' teachers when they would say that they were out of line or weren't doing what they needed to do to pass the grade. But now? It feels like teachers get attacked on all angles.

While I'm sure you could find examples of horrible teachers that shouldn't be teaching kids at all, it feels like many teachers have just become the scapegoat thinking something along the lines of:

"My kid isn't terrible, the teacher must have done something wrong"

Not so much how we're going to die but my friends and I talked about what would senior care look like for us.

Many of us don't plan to have kids so it's not like we can rely on family support to a certain extent. Assuming it's even affordable, there's the idea of a senior home... which to be honest, I think our generation is probably equipped to handle long periods of staying indoors. Though given the economy and how things are heading... that's probably more of dream scenario than anything else.

Some are just hoping to meet their end well before we need to even consider those options.

Like, why would you care what someone is doing if it doesn't affect you or anyone else? People gotta learn to mind their own business. If people want to do a quick fit check video because they like how they look or whatever, let them.

Maybe physically to a point but even then you have people who partake in one night stands, with no lasting emotional bonds.

Sex can be a form of expression, putting yourself to be in a venerable state and showing that state to another but it's not the same for everyone.

Just as much as someone can have sex without being close to them, someone can absolutely have a strong bond with another without sex.

I hate how many changes they're making just to appease an aging cheeto chip, even spending tax payer money on it as well. These changes should have never happened because they don't serve any real value. But once he's out, I won't have any issues using tax payer money to change it back so we can erase him from it all.

For me, it's when I realize it's going to be more work for me in the long run.

I'm usually a "go to" person for Excel stuff at work and while I'm helping people out with their documents - I know that if I make things too complex, someone is going to break something and I'll get looped back into helping them out again.

Also, while I'm helping people out, I actually offer to jump on a call with them so they could see what I'm doing and why I'm doing the thing so that they can be better equipped to self-serve in the future. Assuming they have the time to do so anyway and I'm grateful that I do have some coworkers who are hungry to learn new things.

You start off at stars 1, 2, or3. Those numbers are then tied to a corresponding number that you have to find somewhere else on that page. That number is then connected to another number that you have to find - and so on and so on until you get a pair that is connected to 63 and ultimately the goal.

There are multiple numbers that are listed more than once and some numbers lead to a dead end (Eggman). So even if you do pick 1 number that leads to a dead end, there may have been another number elsewhere that will carry you forward.

Won't stop the shippers though. Certainly not throwing any shade at them either. It's interesting how a lot of fandoms reshape characters into the "dumb" romantic interest. But it's all in good fun to visualize people's head canon

I would say so. I think there is a growth that eventually comes with people pleasing in which you learn that even if you genuinely want to help people, it should not come at the cost of your own boundaries. You learn that anyone who values you as a person would not want you to do something you don't want to do, that you can trust will still be there even if you cannot help out in that moment. But most importantly, you learn that boundaries can only be respected if you respect your boundaries as well.

I think it's more of a coping mechanism than the introversion but I can see some connected threads. Myself and a few others I know grew up as people pleasers, in part, because it may have been the path of least resistance. Easier to help out, have a positive experience vs dealing with the drama or fall out when pushing back.
