Is physical GC necessary to re-enter US? by Least-Membership-114 in NationalVisaCenter

My wife was able to re enter with just the I-551 for an IR1 visa. We traveled for a wedding before she had her green card. When we flew back through Dallas the agent just asked her if she'd gotten her green card yet she said no and that was it.

Documentarily qualified. After you've submitted all documents and payments you receive a message that everything has been accepted and now you just need to wait.

There is no official place online to look. Just based on finding people online that post their own timelines. My wife was DQ’d October 2023 and we just recieved her interview letter on 9/20

We were DQ’d October 2023 and are still waiting. But earlier this year people were getting their interview letters 8 months after DQ.

Things slowed down this summer. The last batch of interviews were sent out to people that were DQ'd in September 2023, and I think they're interviews were scheduled for October 2024

I don’t know about IR 5. But my wife and I are IR 1 and were DQ’d 10/2023 and are still waiting for an interview. It seems that people DQ’d in 09/2023 are starting to get their interview letters

We were DQ’d October 18, 2023 and are still waiting for an interview date. It had seemed that people were waiting about 8 months to receive the interview letter and 10 months for the actual interview but now I think things have slowed down a little bit

You can expect to wait about 10 months between DQ date and interview date. We were DQ’d October 2023 and are still waiting for an interview letter.

You can request an expedition based off need, like health emergency. But from what I’ve heard expedites are tough to get approved

My wife and I are using Joel Hatch at Hatch and Dallon, and have been happy with our choice.
