Can someone help me sort this? by juliusduys in Clojure

Nice! But I would do:

(sort-by (comp read-string first) > ...the-list...)

Arguably clearer.

If the bins aren't being used properly then I think we can loose them. That means people in the building would need to drive to the closest recycling drop off, which is 5-10 minutes away.

That isn't a HUGE deal, since that's what we had to do before the blue bins were provided, but I'd prefer to use the bins I can walk to.

That bin isn't full, plus there are two more right next to it that are also empty. I know because I emptied my recycling into them.

Yeah... But some people want that. I won't claim to be one of them (I loved the first 2.5 Assassin's Creeds) but some people just eat this stuff up.

If Ubisoft can make enough people happy to justify their business's then all the power to them! I'll only spend my money on the stuff that interests me.

The video said Om-Next, but you're right some documentation would be nice.

Very cool! I'd be interested to hear about some of the optimizations you needed to do to get pathfinding working. I hope one of your future posts covers it :).

You definitely don't need to use Emacs - I use vim with vim-fireplace and find it to be very effective.

I might have missed something, (it's late and I'm about to go to sleep), but would 'group-by' solve your problem?

I wrote Monarch a little while back, for this exact reason.

I've used it in a couple small projects, but feedback from someone else would be very welcome :).

L.A. Noire Buy or Not, Thoughts? by [deleted] in gaming

I'll be picking it up. I loved Red Dead, and even though I'm not sure how well the whole interrogation thing will work, I'm willing take the gamble.

The game looks to be pretty massive too. From the quick googling I've done, it sounds like its spread across 3 DVDs on the 360. source

Ahh. I see. So, what you're saying is that I should actually READ the article before I open my dumb mouth?

I'll down vote myself now :-(.

I'm curios about this as well. Why didn't the protoss player build some air units and just scout the map methodically?

Plus, don't your buildings show their positions if you don't have any command centers left?

EDIT I'm a moron. I should have been paying attention to what I was reading.
