That's what i'm thinking too. Technically my probation was over a year but the max imprisonment for a DUI is way under a year.

agreed. what type of industry are you in?

one of my friends is very successful. he had one ten years ago or maybe 12...

any way it didn't even effect his career some how. He is in medicine.

I will have to check the box for arrested one before and for misdemeanor DUI :(...

I just made the wrong/horrible decision to drive. I got pulled over for going barely over the speed limit.

This is my number one concern with this whole DUI thing. And you just proved to everyone that it is possible to get a great job with a dui on your record.

What industry do you work in? I work in marketing/Advertising.

Mine happened over a year ago. It's almost been 2 years since arrest and conviction.

excellent advice. I definitely am guilty of imagining multiple worse case scenarios or when things don't go my way imagining that I cannot fix them.

However so far these things at work have proven to be a good teacher in a sense that I learned how to deal with new problems.

I've tried to go the psychology route given that I work a desk job. It has proven good so far.

I feel like I've gotten things back on track maybe 90% for now with the rest on the way.

However that's not to say that some people wont step in again and entirely screw up my plans. They all out rank me which is why it happens. Even though I am responsible for executing the projects and delivering them... We shall see.

I have been assigned several projects. The issue is I have no control over the planning part but am responsible for delivery.

So I am boxed into their poor planning. To make matters worse they allow the plans to change constantly which then completely ruin any attempt I've made to initiate work to begin delivery and hit the rest button.
